Abstract

A fuel economiser for reducing the fuel consumption of a fuel burning system, the economiser comprising a coil or winding and a variable power/current electrical supply for causing a current flow in the coil or winding. In use, the coil is placed in the vicinity of the fuel supply and a current is caused to flow through it. To improve the fuel economy, the current supplied is varied in response to changes in one or more operational parameters of the fuel-burning device.
