Abstract

Thermal modification apparatus (10) comprises thermal modification means (18, 20, 118) operable for heating a flow of air and operable for cooling a flow of air. The apparatus (10) also comprises exhaust means (22) for exhausting air from the apparatus, and selection means (42) for selectively causing air which is to be exhausted via the exhaust means to be heated or cooled by the thermal modification means.
