Abstract

A towel which has two elasticated ends 1, 2 enabling the towel to be fitted to a sun lounger ensuring all sitting and laying areas of the lounger are covered, and due to the elasticated ends which are fitted over the two ends, will be anchored in place.

Description

FITTED SUN TOWEL
The invention relates to a towel which can be fitted onto sun loungers which may be used anywhere convenient.
I owels that are used on sun loungers at present suffer from the disadvantage that they do not always cover the whole seating or laying area of the lounger and move out of position as the body moves. The area not covered by the towel can become uncomfortable when in contact with a persons skin. If the towel is used outside in windy conditions the towel can be blown away when not being laid upon.
An object of this invention is to provide a towel that can be fitted to a sun lounger covering all areas of seating or laying whilst providing at the same time anchorage of the towel.
Accordingly, this invention provides a towel which can be made in different sizes, which will be elasticated at each end ensuring coverage of seating and laying areas and anchorage of the towel.
The towel is made from a towelling material the quality, thickness and design of which may vary.
Figure I shows an underside view of the towel.
Figure 2 shows a top view of the towel.
As shown in Figure 1, the towel is elasticated at both ends I and 2. When laid on top of the sun lounger, one end, either I or 2 is fitted over one end of the lounger. The remaining end, 1 or 2 is then stretched and pulled over the remaining end of the lounger anchoring it in place.
The flexibility of ends I and 2 means that the towel would be suitable for fitting to different shapes and sizes of loungers. The fitting of the towel will give anchorage to the towel in windy conditions and ensure aller.eas of the sun lounger are covered, providing extra comfort to the user. 1,

Claims (3)

  1. A towel with elasticated ends that can be fitted onto sun loungers of various shapes and sizes covering all the sitting and laying area of the lounger which due to being fitted provides anchorage for the towel.
  2. 2. A towel as claimed in Claim 1. made from towelling material which may vary in quality and thickness.
  3. 3. A towel described and illustrated in the accompanying description and drawings.
