Abstract
The removable mobile phone lens cap consists of the lens cap 1, which may be round or oval in shape and may have a flap door 2 which opens, enabling the camera to be kept in use. In order to secure the lens cap to the phone there are straps 5 and 6. The lens cap can be adjusted so it can move to any point on the straps, utilising runners 7,8,9 and 10 on the underside of the lens cap 1. The straps may be made of rubber.
Description
Removable Mobile Camera Phone Lens Cap This inventions relates to a
removable mobile camera phone lens cap Some camera phones have lyrist Routed externally, which may become danced or dirty due to their vulnerable position. One intention of this invention is to protect flee lens frown dirt or damage.
This invention provides a small cap, Routed on two looped straps, which protects the lens and the straps hold it in place. The invention also has a flap door, which is intended to allow the taking of photos without the removal of the straps and cap.
The straps would preferably be made frown rubber or plastics material, with the proviso that Ellis material has sufficient elasticity to accommodate various dinensions of mobile camera phone. The cap and flap would be made from plastics material.
A preferred embodiment of this invention will now be described, with the accompanying drawings in Chicle; FIGURE 1 slows camera phone lens cap in perspective with flap door shut; FIGURE 2 shows camera phone lord cap in perspective with flap door open; FIGURE 3 shows the camera phone lens cap from beneath, without perspective; FIGURE 4 shows camera phone lens cap in perspective Title cap off centre.
As shown in Figure 1, the lens cap I comprises of an oval shaped body with a flap door 2, which has a spring mounted hinge 3 of known design and a catch 4 of known design, which keeps the flap door closed and allows it to be opened harnessing the energy built up ifs flee spring Ins: unfed hinge.
Figure 2 shows the straps 5 6 feeding through rousters 7 & 8, located on the underside of the cap and then througl1 runners 9 and 10 on the far side of Fig 2. Fig 2 also shows the flap door in an open position.
Figure 3 shows the camera lefts cap 1 frown beneath with the straps 5 & 6 feeding througl the runners 7, 8, 9 & 10. These straps 5 & 6 would need to be of constructed of a high friction material like rubber, similarly tle runners 7, 8, 9 & I O would also need to be made of high friction material.
Figure 4 indicates the straps 5 & 6 allowing the oval cap I of the lens cap to move to any point on the straps.
Claims (1)
1. The Mobile Phone Lens Cap works both to protect the lens and secures Lirnlv to the users mobile phone handset. The Rubber strap(s) accommodates any make or model of mobile phone handset. Act oval or circular cap is Noted on strap(s) to protect the lens.
