Abstract

A book holder comprising a base 5 onto which is secured a column 1, and a lever 2 with a clip 4 which slides up and down the column. The book holder may be made from metal, plastics or any combination of these materials. To hold a book open at the required page, the book is positioned on the base, then the lever slides down over the page and is secured with the clip.

l The invention relates to a Book Ilolder 2 The Book T-Ioldcr enables a individual to read a book any size hands free without losing the page the person is reading, while the book is secure at the page.

3 The Book Holder enables those with difficulty in holding things of children & students to use as a study aid, enabling students to study a book and take notes without having to hold the book and write at the same.

1. THE CLAIMS: BOOK HOLDER I. Book Holder consisting of base onto which is

   secured a metal column to which is attached a metal lever/clip which slides up and down the column.
2. 2. A Book I lolder as claimed in claim 1, where the base and the column & lever attached to the column work together to secure a book at the required page.
3. 3. A Book Holder claimed in any proceeding claim which is made from metal plastics material or combinations of these materials
4. 4. A Book Holder claimed as in claim 1, 2, 3 where the concept of of a base, for resting the book, of the metal column, to which is attached a lever/clip which slides up and down the column.
5. 5. A Book l-folder as described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
