Description

1- 2407307
DISPOSABLE BAG
This invention relates to the use of disposable sanitary bags.
Sanitary bags are in common use for females using sanitary towels when their periods have started. The used towel is placed in a sanitary bag and disposed of in a bin at a later / more convenient time. Sanitary bags are always needed for females when a sanitary bin is not provided in a toilet.
The disadvantage of sanitary bags available at the moment is that they have to be purchased in addition to the sanitary towels and are not incorporated in the same packaging.
This present invention provides the outer packaging for each individual sanitary towel but incorporates the disposable sanitary bag with it. You will open the bag on the string edge to place the used towel in, and then you will peel off the new towel and use as necessary. This then leaves you able to pull the string on either end of the bag to close it. To secure the bag so the towel does not fall out, it needs to be tied in a knot leaving you able to dispose of the bag at a more convenient time, when a bin is available.
A specific embodiment of this invention will now be described by way of example with a reference to the accompanying drawing Figure 1 shows a new towel in the packaging with the incorporated bag and detailing on the outside.
Figure 2 shows how the packaging / bag will be opened.
Figure 3 shows how to take the new towel off the side of the bag.
Figure 4 illustrates placing the used towel in the opened bag, with picture detailing on the bag.
Figure 5 shows the bag being pulled closed.
Figure 6 illustrates the tied bag ready for disposal. - 2 -
Referring to the drawing Fig.1 the new folded disposable sanitary bag has sealed indentations along two edges to keep the towel hygienically clean. Once the packaging has been opened Fig.3 it is clear to see the string pull detail, which makes the bag workable.
This type of packaging with the bag incorporated with it is to make life easier and less embarrassing for the individual, when it has to be carried around in a handbag.
As you are able to see from Fig.1 the new closed packaging shows detailing on the bag 10. This is to hide the contents of the bag without any embarrassment Fig 6 11. This design with detailing on the outside of the bags means you can change the detailing to suit the age group it is aimed at. Whether it is a plain colour, shapes or patterns - this is for teenagers, women or the older lady.
Fig 2 shows you what the new towel 12 on the packaging would look like as it is being opened, ready for use. The new towel is held onto the side of the bag with sticky strips 16. As you can see the coloured string detail 13 is along the top edge. Once you have pulled the new towel off the side of the packaging Fig 3 it is clear to see the disposable bag Fig 4.
Once you have placed the used sanitary towel in the bag Fig 5 it is then easy to pull the string on either end of the bag 14 closed, and tied 15 securely Fig 6. All that is left to do now is dispose of Fig 6 the bag. Whether this is in a sanitary bin or a household bin at home. - 3
