In accordance with the present invention, there is provided in a preferred embodiment of the invention of an article which is a carrying case or purse worn in the palm of the hand, held securely in place with one or more digit retaining rings or straps and wrist encircling strap or bracelet. The invention may also include a third strap which is attached to the purse that also wraps around the back of the hand. The purse is worn in the palm of the hand having a top side and a bottom side, a top end portion and a bottom end portion, a front facing portion and a back facing portion. The purse has a pouch portion with an access opening positioned anywhe,'$ ink the purse. The access opening has a zipper, hook and loop, snap, button, Velcro fastening material or other fastening mechanism for opening and closing the access opening. The attachments extend from either the top side or the top end, and the bottom end portion of the purse and either loop through or connect to both the digit retaining ring or strap and wrist encircling strap or bracelet. If looped through, these two attachment links may be detached from eitherorboth of the ring or wrist straplbracelet and connect to each other via snap, Velcro' hook and loop or other fasting material in order to form a unified strap, connected only to the purse itself. The wrist encircling straplbracelet is connected either permanently or temporarily to the purse with or by an attachment link extending from the bottom end of the purse. A digit retaining ring or strap is connected either permanently or temporarily to the purse with or by an attachment link and is fitted over a finger or thumb to secure and position the purse. A strap fastened to both the top and bottom side for the purpose of fitting around the back of the hand may also be present.
Figure 1 shows the front view of the palm pack 10 according to a preferred embodiment of the invention attached to hand 11. The palm pack has a top side 12 and a bottom side 13, a top end portion 14 and a bottom end portion 15, a front facing portion 16 and a back palm facing portion 1 7 (best seen in figure 2). A pouch portion 18 has an access opening 19. The purse 18 may be composed of cloth, leather, fur, plastic, lace, metals, paper or any combination of these. In these drawings, access opening 17 is positioned on the top end top side of the purse but may alternatively be placed anywhere on the pouch portion 18. Access opening 19, has a means for opening and closing the access opening secured thereto, preferRbl>,being a zipper 20, but alternatively could be a loop and hook, snap, button, Velcro, tor other fastening mechanism. The shape of the purse may be square, oval, rectangular, or round. Inside the purse may be one or more compartments. Two attachment links 21 & 22, are sewn, snaped, velcroed, soldered, woven or otherwise fastened to either the top end l 4 or top side 12 and also the bottom end 15 of the pouch portion 18 of the palm pack.
The attachment links 21 & 22 may be composed of cloth, leather, plastic, lace, metal, paper, or elasticated material. The top end or top side attachment link 21 may be looped through a separate ring 23 or any finger or thumb encircling strap or secured to a ring itself. The ring or finger or thumb encircling strap or ring may be composed of fabric, leather, beads, precious and/or semi-precious stones, plastic, metal, lace, elasticated material, or any combination of these.
If the attachment link 21 is fed/looped through the ring 23, the attachment link may then be reattached to the back palm facing side 17 pouch portion 18 of the palm pack er by needle and thread, snap, Velcro, hook and loop or other fastening mechanisms.
If the attachment link 21 is found on the top side, a third strap 30 may extend from the bottom side and top side of the pouch that wraps around the back of the hand. This third strap is shown in figure 8b and figure 9. The bottom end attachment link 22 may be fed/looped through a separate wrist encircling strap/bracelet 24 or secured to the strap/bracelet itself. Both the strap 30 and strap/bracelet 24 may be composed of fabric, leather, fur plastic, beads, metal, precious and/or semiprecious stones, lace, paper, or elasticated material. The strap 24 may be a watch. The strap/bracelet 24 may or may not have a fastening device 26 such as a snap, buckle, Velcreo,te, hook and loop clasp or any such fastening mechanisms. If elasticated, it may not.
Figure 2 shows the back of the palm pack 10 as shown worn on a hand 11. Preferably, only the ring 23 and strap/bracelet 24 are visible from this angle.
Figure 3 shows the back facing view 17 of the palm pack 10 as it stands alone, unworn. In this view, the palm pack is composed of five separate pieces, ring 23, pouch/purse 18, and strap/bracelet 24, connected via attachment links 21 & 22. Note: attachment link 21 may also extend from the top side of the purse.
Figure 4 shows the back facing view 17 ofthe palm pack 10 as it stands alone, unworn. In this view, the palm pack is able to be rendered into three separate, autonomous pieces; a ring 23, a purse with a strap 25, and a wrist strap/bracelet 24.
When both attachment links 21 & 22 are fed/looped through the ring 23 and strap/bracelet 24, instead of reconnecting to the back side palm facing 17 pouch portion 18, these two attachment links 21 & 22 may be lengthened and temporarily connected to each other via snap, Velcro hook and loop, clasp or other fasting mechanisms. 27 and 28 demonstrate the snaps or attachment mechanisms located on the back palm facing side of the palm pack going unused in this option. These two attachment links may furthermore be de-looped / tin-fed through or otherwise disconnected from both of the ring 23 and strap/bracelet 24 altogether and when connected to each other form a separate unified strap 25 (best viewed in figure 4) that remains attached to the pouch portion 16 of the palm pack thus render the object into three autonomous pieces; a ring 23, a purse 18 with unified strap 25, and a wrist strap/bracelet 24. The unified strap 25 rests on the back palm side facing portion during wear. Note, attachment link 21 may also extend from the top side of the purse.
Figure 5 shows the top side view 12 of the palm pack as it stands alone, unworn. In this view, the attachments links 21 & 22 connect or loop directly with the ring or finger or thumb encircling extension 23 and strap/bracelet 24 and permanently reattach to the purse.
Figure 6 shows the top side view 12 of the palm pack 18 as it stands alone, unworn. In this view, the attachment links 2 l & 22 loop through both the ring 23 and strap/bracelet 24 and reconnect to the back palm facing portion 17 of the pouch portion. When the attachment link 22 is fed/looped through the strap/bracelet, the attachment link may then be reattached to the back palm facing side 17 of the pouch portion 16 of the palm pack by snaps 27 & 28, Velcro, hook and loop or other fastening mechanisms that are located on the back palm facing side.
Figure 7 shows the top side view 12 of the palm pack as it stands alone, unworn. in this view, the attachment links 21 & 22 loop through both the ring 23 and strap/bracelet 24 and reconnect to each other. When both attachment links 21 & 22 are fed/looped through the ring 23 and strap/bracelet 24 (rather than attaching to the ring and strap/bracelet directly), along with reconnecting to the back side palm facing 17 pouch portion 18, these two attachment links 21 & 22 may also temporarily be connected to each other via snap, Velcro7took and loop, clasp, clamp, buckle or other fasting mechanisms. These two attachment links may furthermore be de- looped / un- fed through / disconnected from both of the ring 23 and strap/bracelet 24 altogether and when connected to each other form a separate unified strap 25 (best viewed in figure 4 & 7) that remains attached to the pouch portion 16 of the palm pack and thus render the object into three autonomous pieces; a ring 23, a purse with unified strap, and a wrist strap/bracelet.
Figure 8a shows the front view of the palm pack as it would be worn on the hand as one unified article. The attachment link 21 extends from the top end portion 14 and permanently connects to a ring or finger or thumb encircling extension. Attachment link 22 extends from the bottom end portion and permanently connects to a wrist encircling extension. In effect, the attachment link and finger/thumb encircling extensions may be one and the same.
Figure 8b shows the front view of the palm pack as it would be worn on the hand as one unified article. The attachment link 21 extends from the top side portion 12 and permanently connects to a ring or finger or thumb encircling extension. Attachment link 22 extends from the bottom end 15 portion and permanently connects to a wrist encircling extension. In effect, the attachment link and finger/thumb encircling extensions may be one and the same. The back hand strap 30 is also visible in this view. Depending on the number of finger or thumb attachments, the presence of this strap may not be necessary, or may only be present for aesthetical purposes.
Figure 9 shows the back view of the palm pack as it would be worn on the hand. The attachment link 21 extends from the top side portion and permanently connects to a ring or finger or thumb encircling extension 23. A further strap 30, can be viewed as it wraps around the back of the hand.
Note: more than one digit attachment or ring may or may not be present in any of the examples above. The back hand strap 30 may or may not be present in any of the examples above. The wrist encircling strap 24 may or may not be present in any of the
examples above.
Additional advantages and modification will readily occur to those skilled in the art.
The palm pack may well take the form of jewelry or textile and embellished as appropriate. The invention in its broader aspects is, therefore, not limited to the specific details, representative apparatus and illustrative examples shown and described. Accordingly departures from such details may be made without departing from the spirit or scope of the applicants general inventive concept.
