Abstract

A bra rack to which a bra is attached when damp to help mould and keep the original shape of said bra comprises an indentation 3 along each side of the top edge for the bra strap to sit within, a pair of moulded breast cups 6, and side indentations 4 for the bra's back straps to sit within and then be clipped around the back of the product. A loop 5 may be provided at the very bottom so that more than one of the product can be stacked vertically in a wardrobe. The product may be transparent or have various designs.

BRASIERRE RACK

This bra rack is designed with the intention of being hung up in a wardrobe or on a peg. It should be made of plastic, fashioned as a coat hanger with plastic breast cups in applicable size for the bra to mould to when damp.

Women spend a lot of money on lingerie. The largest cost is associated with the purchase of bras. For the many women who buy padded bras the biggest problem is the fact that the bras become mis-shapen after very little time. The padding can become quite lumpy and the bras can lose their shape.

This invention allows women to hang up their bras on a bra hanger whilst damp after washing. This invention shall help keep the original shape of the bra. This invention allows women to get a longer usage out of their bras.

This bra rack looks like a coat hanger at the top but with moulded plastic breast cups to help retain the bra shape. It should resemble a breast mannequin. It can be made of plastic or could even be wooden or metal. Various designs could be used to decorate the product. It should have a small loop at the bottom to allow stacking of the product in a vertical manner. The product could be manufactured as a single product or in multiple racks.

People use tie racks, belt racks and show racks. This is a bra rack. The bra is attached onto the product as if being clipped onto the body.

A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: FIGURE 1: shows a front on view of the invention FIGURE 2: shows a side view of the bra rack FIGURE 3: shows a front on view of the invention with a bra supported FIGURE 4: shows a multiple version of the bra rack As shown in Figure 1, 1 is the hook which could be made form plastic or metal. This part hangs up the rack on to a woardrobe rail, for instance. 2 is the main body of the bra rack. 3 is the indentation where you slip the bra strap so that the bra sits on the invention as if on a body. 4 is the part of the invention where the back bra strap is fitted. 5 is the loop used to stack the invention if you wish to add single units of the product together in a vertical manner. 6 is the moulded breast cup.

Figure 2 demonstrates a side view of the product. Parts 1, 2, 4 and 5 are as in FIGURE 1. However, this diagram gives a better view of area 6 which is the moulded breast cup. This shall vary in size dependent on specific bra/breast size of consumer.

Figure 3 is as Figure 1 but with the addition of a bra. This obscures area 6 from view as the bra sits over 6.

Figure 4 demonstrates a multiple version of the product.

It shall be important that parts 1 and 5 are compatible in terms of fitting together size-wise. The moulded breast area will vary in size dependent on the particular consumers' breast and bra size. The product must be well made with minimal sharp edges to cut down on snagging of bras. The product will not necessarily have any specific backing, as this is merely where the bra shall be clipped together in the manner of a female's back. The product must be manufactured to withstand repeatedly damp bras being placed upon it.

Claims

1. A bra rack with a hanger at the top for hanging in a wardrobe but with moulded plastic breast cups to help retain the bra shape.

2. A bra rack as claimed in CLAIM 1, which should resemble a mannequin around the breast area.

3. A bra rack as claimed in CLAIM 1, which can be made from plastic, wood or metal.

4. A bra rack as claimed in CLAIM 1 and 3, which has a loop at the base for stacking of the product. This should be plastic, wood or metal.

5. A bra rack as claimed in CLAIM 1, 3 and 4, manufactured as a single bra holder or in multiples with only one hanger at the top and one loop at the bottom, to be made in a vertical manner to address the issue of space in a wardrobe.

6. A bra rack as claimed in CLAIM 1, 3, 4 and 5, which can carry various designs on the material.

7. A bra rack substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
