Abstract

A modular furniture arrangement comprises a kit of planks with each plank 1 having two or more evenly spaced holes along the plank length. The planks are interlocked by pegs 2 which are received in selected holes of the planks to create a variable supporting surface, e.g. a bench or underframe for a table top. The pegs may act as supporting legs for the supporting surface. Spacer planks 3 may also be provided.

Claims (5)

  1. I. Multi-positional interlocking plank furniture comprised of a modular bench system consisting of plank benches and supporting legs7 with a multi- positional hole and peg system, which interlock to create varied seating arrangements.
  2. 2. Multi positional interlocking plank furniture as claimed in Claim 1, where the supporting legs have a multi-positional hole and peg system which can support more than one plank bench, allowing for several benches to be added if required in a variety of angles which in turn allow the user to create various patterns for seating arrangements.
  3. 3. Multi-positional interlocking plank furniture as claimed in Claim I or Claim 2, where the supporting legs have a multi-positional hole and peg system that allows t'or a variety of bench heights depending on the user's preference.
  4. 4. Multi-positional interlocking plank furniture as claimed in Claim 3, which has removable table-tops of various diameters which can be positioned at any or all of the supporting legs and affiecd by the hole and peg system.
  5. 5. Multi-positional interlocking plank furniture as claimed in any preceding claim where a single supporting leg can support one or more benches in addition to a table top it'rcquircd.
