Abstract

A Multifunctional Personal Safety Device comprising of a body 3 having a front end in the shape of a funnel 4 that connects by a means to a lid 5 and a rear end 6 and providing a storage compartment for items 7 provided at the rear end 6 is a hole 8 that is to be used for attaching the device for the purpose of carrying or putting the device in storage. Located on the barrel are nodules or similar grip type material to help grip the device 9.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL PERSONAL SAFETY AID
This patent application relates to a multifunctional personal safety aid.
Hand held self-defence aids or safety aids have been in the market place for many years and are used for one specific purpose.
An object of the invention is to provide a hand held safety apparatus that can be used as a hand held self-defence aid and by way of its design may also be used as a storage vessel for the purpose of containing any suitable size items including liquid such as urine or medicine According to the present invention there is provided a multifunctional personal safety aid which comprises a body in the form of an elongated barrel having a front end and a rear end and providing a storage compartment for accommodating suitable sized items to be stored, the front end is fitted with a lid, the rear end of the barrel is fitted with a hole or a hook or similar type connector so that the device may be attached to a means for purpose of transporting or storing the device Preferably the front end is shaped in the design of a funnel and the lid is attached by any or any combination of screw threads, clips, friction fit, adhesive, welding, screws, nuts and bolts and/or the like.

1. A multifunctional personal safety aid which comprises a body in the form of an elongated barrel having a front end and a rear end and providing a storage compartment for accommodating suitable sized items for storage, the front end is fitted with a lid, the rear end of the barrel is fitted with a hole or a hook or similar type connector so that the device may be attached to a means for purpose of transporting or storing the device, preferably the front end is shaped in the design of a funnel to facilitate the insertion of liquid and the lid is attached by any or any combination of screw threads, clips, friction fit, adhesive, welding, screws, nuts and bolts and/or the like
2. A multifunctional personal safety aid as claimed in Claiml, wherein the elongated barrel is provided with a hand grip such as nodules or protruding shapes machined onto the barrel or any material fixed to the barrel by a means for the purpose of enhancing the grip.
