Abstract

A sun lounger of the type having a bed portion 1 and a head or back portion 2 comprises powered fans 4 which blow air through void areas 5 so as to cool an occupant of the lounger. The void areas 5 may be provided by a mesh or by the spacing between the bed material. The fans may be mounted within the bed structure. The lounger has legs 3 that enable it to be mounted off or directly on the floor.

Description

FAN COOLING SUN LOUNGER
This invention relates to a Fan Cooling Sun Lounger with fans attached to i, Sun Loungers are well known inventions that are used by people to sit and lay on for relaxation According to the present invention there is provided a body in the form of a bed and a head or back rest section that may or may not be adjustable to different angles that is attached to a base frame or legs that enable the bed to be mounted a certain height off the floor or directly on the floor The bed comprises of void areas that make the structure penetrable allowing air to pass through or be blown through from one side to the other such as spacing between the actual bed material or use of a mesh or similar.
Attached to the bed structure are fans powered by a means that when turned on will blow cool air through the bed and thus cooling the person sitting or laying on the bed A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by the way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 shows a side view of the Sun Lounger with the fans attached to the rear panel of the bed and head or back rest section Figure 2 shows a plan view of the Sun Lounger with the fans positioned at the rear of the bed.
Figure 3 shows a view of the underside of the Sun Lounger.

Claims (3)

1 A Fan Cooling Sun Lounger that comprises of a body in the form of a bed and head or back rest section that may or may not be adjustable to different angles that is attached by a means to a base frame or legs that enables the bed to be mounted a certain height off the floor or directly on the floor, the bed comprises of void areas that make the bed structure penetrable allowing air to pass through or be blown through from one side to the other such as spacing between the actual bed material or use of mesh or similar and attached to the bed structure are fans powered by a means.
2 A Fan Cooling Sun Lounger as claimed in Claim I where in the fans are situated within the bed structure.
3 A Fan Cooling Sun Lounger as claimed in Claim] or in Claim 2 or Claim 3 where in the bed section is without base frame or legs and lays directly on the ground 4 A Fan Cooling Sun Lounger substantially as described herein with reference to Figure 1-3 of the accompanying drawing
