Abstract

A device fitted to any animal by means of a collar or internal insertion by which the exact whereabouts of the animal can be determined to one metre. The device uses the global positioning satellite system to map the precise position of the animal, relaying this information to a suitable receiving unit, ie a computer or mobile device. This device could be extended in its use to also include lost lugage, valuable items or people.

ABLE TO TRACK ANIMALS IE DOGS, HORSES, CATTLE, CATS ETC, BY MEANS OF EITHER AN EXTERNAL OR INTERNAL G.P.S (GLOBAL POSITIONING SATEI,LITE) DEVICE FITTED TO THE ANIMAL. THE DEVICE CAN BE ATTACHED EXTERNALLY, BY MEANS OF A COLLAR OR INTERNAL INSERTION IE SIMILAR TO IDF,NTITY MICROCHIPS ALREADY IN USE AROUND THE WORLD.
HOW IT WORKS: WHEN THE ANIMAL FITTED WITH THE DEVICE GOES MISSING, THE APPLICATION IS ACTIVATED (OR IS ALWAYS ACTIVE) THE TRACKING OF THE ANIMAL IS POSSIBLE BY EITHER: 1) CENTRAL TRACKING STATION, WHO WOULD TRACK ANIMAL UNTIL CAUGHT.
2) THE LOCATION OF THE ANIMAL IS TRANSMITTED TO A SMART PHONE/ PDA DEVICE 3) THE ANIMAL IS LOCATED THROUGH A WEB/PROGRAM LINK TO OWNERS COMPUTER, USING CD/WEB MAPS AS AVAILABLE ALREADY.

2 ANIMAL TRACKER AS CLAIMED IN CLAIM I TO BE MADE OF SUITABLE MATERIAL TO GIVE ALL WEATHER PROTECTION.
