Abstract

A disposable safety syringe comprising a tubular body, a needle with a multi headed hook 4 on its rear end, and a spring within the syringe body to refract the needle after a single use. The hook 4 preferably engages the plunger head 5 and locks in place. The spring may enable the needle to refract, and blobs of plastic 6 may secure the needle. Allows the needle to be safely refracted after a single use.

Description

DISPOSABLE SAFETY SYRINGE
The function of this new disposable syringe is to make disposable syringes safe after one use.
This is achieved by the needle being drawn into the body of the syringe after a single use. The following modi fications are made to the standard of disposable syringe, to enable this to happen.
The needle section that within the gripping rubber washer 7 has placed on its shaft a small plastic blob 6. This blob holding the needle firm while injecting and engaging hook 4 to plungers head 5. This hook is placed at the end of the needle so to penetrate rubber plunger. To allow the drug to be executed one hole is provided 2 on the shaft of the needle, just within the body. Once the hook has entered the head of plunger it will lock into the sides of plunger, When the spring uncoils, forcing the needle into the body out of harms way. On the plungers shaft a fine fin 8 is placed. This fin is a guide so that the hook is not prematurely engaged.

Claims (9)

1 A disposable safty syringe comprising a needle, a body inform of a tube means for releasing drugs. The body being adapted to release needle after one use. Spring within body to with draw needle. Plunger head comprising a hollow central shaft to engage needle. Rear end of needle comprising of multi head hook. Hole provided on needle shaft, just within body.
2 A disposable safty syringe as claimed in claim 1 wherein suringe means are provided to withdraw needle.
3 A disposable safty syringe as claimed in claim 2 wherein syringe means are provided on needle, on rear end a mull headed hook.
4 A disposable safty syringe as claimed in claim 2 or claim 3 wherein syringe means on plunger head to engage needle hook.
A disposable safty syringe in 4 wherein syringe a spring is provided means in order to retrack needle.
6 A disposable safty syringe as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the syringe provided with one hollow plunger shaft.
7 A disposable safty syringe as claimed in 6 wherein each body, placed on needle shaft is provided a blob of plastic.
8 A disposable safty syringe as claimed in 7 wherein a blob on needle shaft set within rubber washer.
9 A disposable safty syringe substantially as described herein with reference to figures 1-2 of the accompanying drawings.
