Abstract

An anchor is mounted on a spring which is positioned within a shaft 6 drilled into the exterior wall of a building. The anchor comprises a drilled hole 4 for connection to a personal safety harness. The spring 5 and anchor fit inside a sleeve within the shaft 6 and are covered by a plate 1. When the plate 1 is swung aside, the spring 5 forces the anchor out of the shaft for use. The anchor is pushed back into the shaft 6 and covered when not in use. The sleeve of the anchor is fixed into the 36mm diameter shaft by a resin. In use a worker on the outside of a building can be securely attached to the building at all times, whilst not defacing the appearance of the building.

Description

Wall Mounted Intemel Clipping On Device This idea is for personnel who
work at times on outside of buildings i.e window cleaners, painters Repair workers etc. It is installed by first drilling a hole 36mm diameter into brickwork or cladding.
A resin anchor is then installed and the device is then fitted into the hole.
Once the resin has set the Wall Mounted Internal Clipping On Device is now ready to be used.
The Wall Mounted Intemal Clipping on Device has a round stainless cover plater with hole drilled 2 so that it can be connected to the top hat pin retainer with hole drilled 3 of the device by bolt 6.
The cover plater retains the anchor pin with hole drilled 4 from shooting out as it is under tension at all times by a spring 5 which is fitted in the long shaft 6 and retained by end plate.
When the cover plate 1 is rotated by hand to the side the anchor pin with hole drilled 4 shoots out and this enables a person to clip his safety harness to it.
When finished the person pushes it back and rotates the cover plate 1 back to its starting position FIGURE I Shows in perspective the Wall Mounted Intemal Clipping On Device FIGI IRE 2 Shows a side elevation of the Wall Mounted Internal Clipping on Device
