Abstract

An antenna power divider has a generally rectangular body (1) provided with a lateral projection (15) having a coupling flange (19) for attachment to an antenna. The body includes a relatively thick base plate (3) having a cover plate (2) superimposed thereon. A first waveguide (22) is formed in the base plate (3) leading from a first transmission line connector (30) to leaves the body through the coupling flange (19) and a second waveguide (23) travels alongside the first leading from a second transmission line connector (31) to a microwave termination element located in a corner opening (12). A window opening (24) is formed in the base plate between the two waveguides so that a proportion of the microwave energy may pass between the first and second waveguides.
