Abstract

According to one aspect of the invention, a method is provided in which a plurality of service allocation requests are received from a plurality of clients. A score is computed for each service allocation request based upon one or more factors including a first factor corresponding to an amount of input data that has been received for the respective service allocation request, a second factor corresponding to a number of resources available for allocation, and a third factor corresponding to a relative priority of the respective service allocation request. Services are allocated for the plurality of service allocation requests based upon the score computed for each service allocation request.
