Abstract

A novelty attraction device 1 comprising a body 2 and human attraction means 3, the body being substantially shaped as a horse-shoe magnet. The human attraction means may comprise cotton wool 4 infused with human pheromones. The device may be provided with caps (7, Fig. 2) at its ends, which can be removed to expose apertures through which the cotton wool can be passed so as to be replaced with a fresh supply. The caps may be provided with apertures (8, Fig. 2) through which the pheromones can pass. These caps may be provided with transparent covers (9, Fig. 2) which contain the pheromones within the body until removed.

Description

-1 Novelty attraction device This invention relates to a novelty device
for attracting potential sexual partners. Single men and women are commonly pre-occupied with attracting members of the opposite, or the same, sex to form relationships, sexual or otherwise. As a result a large industry has evolved to help single people attract potential partners, for example through improving personality, appearance or scent. One particular section of the market involves the unconscious attraction of potential partners through stimulus response. Products such as pheromone sprays are intended to stimulate a subconscious sexual attraction in those who are exposed to it.
The present invention is intended to provide a novel approach.
According to the present invention a novelty attraction device comprises a body and human attraction means, in which the body is substantially shaped as a magnet. Preferably the magnet may be a traditional horse-shoe shaped magnet.
The magnet can also be red in colour with black portions at its outer ends.
It will be appreciated that the human attraction means can be anything which will stimulate an attraction to the user in a subject. In a preferred embodiment the means is a scent or a smell.
In one construction the scent or smell can be a pheromone chemical, which is adapted to affect the behaviour of the subject. The pheromone can be
-2 adapted to simulate the pheromones produced by men or women, in order to attract members of the opposite, or the same, sex.
The pheromone can be held in an absorbent material which can be disposed within the body of the magnet. In a preferred construction the absorbent material is cotton wool, or an equivalent material, which is infused with the pheromone material. The body of the magnet can also be provided with apertures, through which the pheromone scent can escape. In a preferred embodiment the apertures are provided in the black sections of the magnet body, although it will be appreciated that the apertures can be disposed anywhere on the body. The apertures can be provided with a cover element, to contain the pheromones, which are adapted to be removed to activate the device.
The magnet body can be provided with a closable aperture through which the absorbent material can pass, so the absorbent material can be removed and replaced with a fresh supply for re-use.
The magnet body can also be provided with decoration adapted to portray its novelty intention. In one embodiment the pheromone material is adapted to attract women, and the decoration can comprise the words "Fanny Magnet".
The magnet body can be any size, but in a preferred embodiment the magnet is dimensioned to fit in a clothing pocket, and is approximately 10cm in width. The invention also includes a kit of parts comprising a novelty attraction device comprising a body and human attraction means, in which the body is substantially shaped as a magnet, and the human attraction means is an absorbent material carrying a human attraction scent, and in which the body is provided with a closable aperture dimensioned to allow the absorbent material to pass, and a number of replacement absorbent material portions.
-3 The invention can be performed in various ways but one embodiment will now be described by way of example, and with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 is a front view of a novelty attraction device according to the present invention, with one portion shown in cross section; and, Figure 2 is an end view of the novelty attraction device as shown in Figure 1 As shown in Figure 1 a novelty attraction device 1 comprises a body 2, which is shaped like a horse-shoe magnet, and human attraction means 3 in the form of cotton wool 4 infused with male pheromones (not visible). (The cotton wool 4 is visible only through a portion which has been exposed in Figure 1) The magnet is provided with a red portion 5 and black portions 6 at its ends, in order to create the appearance of a magnet. The magnet is provided with caps 7 at its ends, which can be removed to expose apertures (not visible), which are dimensioned to allow the cotton wool 4 to pass so it can be removed and replaced with a fresh supply.
As shown in Figure 2, the caps 7 are provided with apertures 8 through which the pheromones can pass. The caps 7 are also provided with transparent covers 9, which are held in place on the caps 7 with an adhesive (not visible).
In use the covers 9 are removed, and the pheromone scent passes through the apertures 8. When the pheromone scent has been exhausted, the caps 7 can be removed to expose the apertures provided in the body 2, through which the cotton wool 4 can be removed, and replaced with a fresh supply.
The body 2 is also provided with decoration 10, which is intended to portray its novelty character. The decoration 10 comprises the words UFanny
- Magnet" which are intended to be placed on the body 2 of a device intended to be used to attract a woman. It will be appreciated that the wording of the decoration 10 can be changed to suit the intention to attract those of any sexual orientation.
The magnet body is dimensioned to fit into a clothing pocket, and is 10cm in width.
It will be appreciated that the device 1 as shown in Figures 1 and 2 can be used as part of a kit of parts comprising the device 1 and all its component parts, and a number of replacement cotton wool portions. The cotton wool portions can be provided in a sealed packaging, in order to prevent the pheromone escaping.
The packaging can be removed prior to insertion of the fresh cotton wool portions.
Thus a novelty attraction device is provided which provides amusement to the user, and attracts members of the opposite, or the same, sex to assist in the forming of desired relationships.
