Abstract

A garden hand tool in which both a rake head and a hoe head are pivotally mounted on the end of a shaft. To use one of the heads, it is pushed into a working position and held there by the engagement of a catch with a flange. After use, pulling of a handle on the shaft pulls a wire which releases the hold of the flange on the catch. Once the head is released it is returned to a rest position by the action of a spring. When not in use both heads are retracted to the rest position in which they are folded back against the shaft.

A 2 way Raker - Hoe-er Information:- Back saving device, no bending required to re-pick up hoe or rake if separated.
Easy light sturdy, polypropylene rake.
Debris easy to scoop-up, using ones toot.
Hoe - semi-shar,o for cutting edges.
Spade shaped for putting peat round shrubs plants + it can also be used to lift things up & put them down. Used for small spaces - to clear leaves from rookeries.

How it operates.
Handle pulls up &,oulls flange up which is on 2 springs that springs back & forth allowing the catch to come out of the hole & springs back down again automaticly. When the catch goes into the hole it pushes the flange up & the catch can not come out as the catch has a serrated edje. The handle has to be used to release the catch. The handle is connected to a wire.

    required to re-pick up hoe or rake if seperated.
    Easy light sturdy, polypropylene r eke.

    Hoe - semi-sharp for cutting edges.
    Spade shaped for putting peat r ound shrubs plants + it can also be used to lift things up put them down. Used for small spaces - to clear leaves from rookeries.
