Abstract

A mobile telephone incorporating a movement sensor to allow a text warning to be sent to another mobile telephone on activation. The device would have mains charging capabilities and contain a timer to allow for messages to be transmitted only at specific times.

Description

MOBILE SECURITY DEVICE
This invention relates to movement sensor built into the body of a mobile phone.
The device incorporates a set of retractable mains electric pins for easy recharging. Mobile telephones are well known and fairly inexpensive and by incorporating a sensor and the necessary software would give the user an affordable security system. When the sensor is activated by movement the mobile telephone would be switched on and a pre- programmed text message would be sent to another mobile phone to warn of intrusion to properties, cars and other venerable locations. The device could also be used to monitor staff presence on remote locations. The device would only need to transmit and not receive signals, thus reducing cost.
Power would only have to be constant to the sensor thus allowing long periods without recharging.
The device would switch off as soon as the text message was sent and would have a timer to allow it to only transmit at programmed times. The destination number for the text message can be entered via the mobile telephone's key pad.
