Description

Automobile air-conditionina outlet deflection device Field of the
Invention
The present invention relates to automobile air-
o conditioning outlets and more particularly to an automobile air-
conditioning outlet deflection device.
Backaround to the Invention
15 As we know the air-conditioning device is indispensable in an automobile which provide cooling air in the summer and hot air in the winter. The conventional automobile air-conditioning outlet only exhausts cooling or hot air in a single direction, only few high class automobile has the device in the air-conditioning outlet to to Reflectively exhaust the air. The single direction exhausting the air into automobile usually result worse air circulation. Therefore some passengers feel too cold while the others feel too hot. Some of the air dispensers for automobile air-conditioning are designed as helicopter shape which the blades can only make the fragrance 25 to circulate more even but can not deflect the air to exhaust to different direction in the automobile. Some of the users adopts an
air-guiding device. However, it is too big to be accepted by most of the people. Besides, it only suits for weakened air. If the air is exhausted too strong it could become turbulent air current in the automobile. My U. S. Patent No.6342003 principally solves the above discussed defect but still has the disadvantages set forth as follows: a) The blades and the gears block a large part of the air o conditioning outlet, b) The clip will be falling off after a period of use.
The present invention has a principal object to provide a compact size automobile air-conditioning outlet deflection device Is which utilizes the air outlet of the automobile air-conditioning to cause to change its blades position in order to allow the air to blow at different directions without using electricity.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an so automobile air-conditioning outlet deflection device in which the blade rotates in a steady deflection speed despite the blowing intensity of the airconditioning in order to obtain stable and steady air circulation in the automobile.
25 Still another object of the present invention is to provide an automobile air-conditioning outlet deflection device in which both the inner and outer blades are improved that the blades are
rotatable and provide steady deflection air.
A further object of the present invention is to provide an automobile airconditioning outlet deflection device in which the s clip is changed to an expnu',,y Wipe A, o,de, to p.event elastic fatigue. A still further object of the present invention is to provide an automobile air- conditioning outlet deflection device when the lo blades are rotated too fast, a pair of speed-slowing plates can be slow down the rotation in order to keep the blades to be rotated in steady speed.
A yet further object of the present invention is to provide an 15 automobile air-conditioning outlet deflection device which will not block the air-conditioning outlet and facilitates the air totally blowing out of the outlet.
The present invention will become more fully understood by i to reference to the following detailed description thereof when read in
conjunction with the attached drawings.! Brief Descrintion of the Drawinas 25 Figure 1 is an exploded perspective view to show the preferred embodiment of the present invention,
Figure 2 is a sectional view to show the assembly of Figure 5 Figure 3 is sections, view to Show clip i,,SO - =d i, JO the outlet of an automobile air-conditioning, Figure 4 is a plane view to show the speed-slowing plates while the blades are in motionless, Figure 5 is a plane view to show the speed-slowing plates while the blades are in rotation, and Figure 6 is a perspective view to show an outlook of the Is preferred embodiment of the present invention. i Descrintion of the Preferred Embodiment With reference to Figures 1, 2 and 3, of the drawings, the to automobile air-conditioning outlet deflection device of the present invention comprises generally a ring-shaped main body (10), a set of deflection blades (20), a set of spinning blades (30), a cover member (do) and set of gears (35).
us The main body (10) has a plurality of crossing rods (11) spacedly secured to inner periphery and converged to a central ring (12), a pair of assembly pieces (13) respectively formed on
opposing outer peripheries and a retaining ring (14) on one of the crossing rods (11). i The set of deflection blades (20) has a set of blades (21) 5 paraiisi to each other and,r,cOi,,i,,g to same di.actio, cirou!=r: recess (22) formed in the front center of the deflection blades (20) including a plurality of small thru holes (221) in the bottom thereof for receiving the perfume balls (24) therein and covered by a I circular lid (23) which has plurality of thru holes (231) in the body.
lo The deflection blades (20) is rotatably disposed into the front side of the main body (10) and further has a T-shaped axis (25) on I back side inserted into the central ring (12) of the main body (10).
The set of gears (35) includes a big gear (351) and a small is gear (352) each of which is engraved into a plurality of regular space in the body to permit the air passing through. The big gear (351) has a tubular axial rod (354) on the center inserted rotatably into the central ring (12) of the main body (10) and connected to the T-shaped axis (25) of the deflection blades (20) so that the big to gear (351) is rotund in concert with the deflection blades (20). The small gear (352) has a tubular pinion (353) on the front center engaged with the teeth of the big gear (351) and rotatably secured: to the retaining ring (14) of the main body (10) by a T-shaped pin (355) so that the small gear (352) has a function to reduce the 25 rotation speed of the deflection blades (20).
The set of spinning blades (30) has an annular ring (31) which separates the spinning blades into a set of inner blades (33) and a set of the outer blades (34!. The inner blades (33) have their outer ends spacedly connected to the inner periphery of the annular ring s t31) and their inner ends converge,,.,j co,,,,ected to a hub svhich has a splinted axial rod t32) on front side inserted into the tubular axial rod (354) of the big gear (351) and an axis (311) on back side (as shown in Figure 2). The outer blades (34) spacedly connect to I the outer periphery of the annular ring (31) wherein two pairs of the lo outer blades (34) on opposing periphery are shorter than the others and one blade of each pair of the shorter blades has a fixing rod I (341) on the top for connecting a speed-slowing plate (342) which has a thinner middle portion to facilitate itself to move outward for the centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the spinning blades is (30) The cover member (40) has an annual body, a circumference side (41), an assembly side (45) engageable with the inner periphery of the main body (10), a set of crossing rods (42) inside 20 the body and convergently connected to an axial ring (43) at center of the body for receiving the axis (311) of the spinning blades (30) with a bearing (346) engaged therebetween and a pair of screws: (44) secured the cover member (40) to the main body (10) when assembling. Referring to Figures 4, 5 and 6, when the air-conditioning is operated at low speed. The spinning blades (30) is also rotated at I low speed and the deflection blades (20) actuated by the spinning lo blades (30) rotates steadfastly at low speed either. If the air conditioning is operated at high speed, the spinning blades (30) is I also rotated at high speed. However, the speed-slowing plates (342) which are effected by the centrifugal force of the spinning blades (30) move outward to contact the circumference side (41) of f5 the cover member (40). Therefore the friction force is created to slow down the rotation speed of the spinning blades (30). The deflection blades (20) controlled by the small gear (352) always rotated steadfastly to permit the cool or hot air and the sweet-
smelling to average dispersing in the automobile. Figure 6 to provides an outlook of the present invention.
The spinning blades of a prior art are simply and radically:
scattered around a hub and operated by the electric power.
However, the spinning blades (30) is designed into two parts. The 25 inner blades (33) has few blades to define many gaps to allow the air going through. The outer blades (34) are designed in high density to receive the blowing of the air in order to actuate itself I
i and the deflection blades (20) to rotate. The set of gears (35) have also the regular gaps to allow the air going through and have the function to actuate the deflection blades to rotate at steady speed. i 5 the elastic plates (5) o, the elast,o c',p VOJ USe the tensile force to open themselves in the grilles of the air-conditioning outlet which avoids elastic fatigue.
This automobile air-conditioning outlet deflection device has a I lo compact size, exquisite design and used no electric power but t dispersed the air averagely in the automobile. It is really supereminent over the prior art and acceptable by the users.
Note that the specification relating to the above embodiment
15 should be construed as exemplary rather than as limitative of the present invention, with many variations and modifications being readily attainable by a person of average skill in the ad without departing from the spirit or scope thereof as define] by the appended claims and their legal equivalents.
