Abstract
A back support device for fitting to a fishing tackle seat box is supported by a bar which slides into a sleeve which is fixed to the seat of the fishing tackle box. The support bar which is bent to an angle of about 90 degrees may be secured into the sleeve by a thumbscrew device.
Description
The invention relates to installing a back support to a Fishing tackle
seat, basket, box etc., All anglers these days have a variety of fishing tackle seats, baskets, boxes etc., but none have a back support. With the average fishing match lasting S or 6 hours support to the lower back is essential, allowing anglers less suffering with lower back problems.
Preferably this support package is made from metal and plastic, although GRP and carbon etc., could be used.
This package can be connected to old and new fishing tackle seats, baskets, boxes etc. As shown in Fig I the invention relates to attaching a back support to a fishing tackle seat, basket, box etc. Figure 2 shows a bar that goes under the seat and slides back and forth.
Fig 3 and Fig 4 show the back support that comes in many shapes and sizes.
Fig 5 is the base plate 1 and sleeve 2 note the screw thread 3 and locking device 4.
Fig 6 is the same as Fig 5 except the locking device 4 is on the sleeve 2 not on the base plate I asinFig5.
Fig 7 relates how Fig S is attached to the under-part of the fishing tackle seat, basket, box etc. Fig relates to how Fig 6 is attached to the under-part of the fishing tackle seat, basket, box etc. Fig 2 will then slide into the sleeve 2 of Fig's S and Fig 6 and held in position by locking device 4
Claims (4)
1. A removeable fishing tackle seat box sliding back support comprises of seat with sliding sleeve, a locking device, a bent back bar to hold the back support that slides into the sleeve of the seat, the back support can then be moved up or down.
2. A removeable fishing tackle seat box sliding back support as claimed in claim 1 wherein a sleeve is provided in the seat co-operable with the bent back bar to enable the sliding movement.
3. A removeable fishing tackle seat box sliding back support as claimed in claim I or claim 2 can be removed and turned upside down then replaced in the sliding sleeve.
4. A removeable fishing tackle seat box sliding back support as claimed in claim I or claim 2 or claim 3 wherin catchment means is provided on the sleeve for arresting the sliding movement of the bent back bar.
