Abstract
A computer main unit, A, comprises at least one display panel 3. The display panel may be a multicoloured LCD or a 'cold light display board' and is used to display information such as time or temperature. Inner and outer shields 1,2, may be provided.

PANEL OF COMPUTER MAIN UNIT
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates to a panel of computer main unit and particularly 5 to a panel, which is capable of showing system information, colors and pictures for being selected by the user with the computer main unit.
2. Description of Related Art:
The computer main unit is a center and a soul of the computer system and it is possible to connect with peripheries externally via the main unit so that the main unit 10 would be essential and indispensable to the computer system.
The conventional computer main unit is a closed box with closed lateral sides, a heat dissipated rear side and an operated front side. The operated front side is arranged as a panel and the panel may be provided with openings for accommodating disk drives or external connected devices in addition to some 15 operational press buttons. Although some panels have local decorations such as stripes or a little changes of profiling, the panel shape is extremely less change comparing to functional devices in the main unit.
Investigating the phenomenon, the reason resides in that the suppliers and the consumers are used to treat the panel as an operation interface and the visual pursuit 20 and the visual change with regard to the panel are not so cared such that a computer main unit with creative modeling is usually attached with a conventional modeling of panel. In fact, if the computer is thought as a consumption product, it can be found that the more expensive product, comparing with a mobile phone or any other
personal belongings such as a watch, having not been made a breakthrough is a puzz e for us, especially, the mobile phone and the watch have changed a lot on me visual pursuit. Hence, it is really needed that the panel for the main unit, which has accompanied the users for a long time, is made with a significant change.
5 SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The crux of the present invention is to provide a panel of computer main unit, which includes a display board and a circuit. The display board is attached to an Operation end of the main unit and is a watched part after being assembled. The circuit is Connected to the main unit for showing colors.
10 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The present invention can be more fully understood by reference to the following description and accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 is a disassembled perspective view of a panel of a computer main unit according to the present invention; 15 Fig. 2 is a perspective view illustrating the panel in Fig. 1 having been assembled; and Fig. 3 is a block diagram illustrating operation of the panel of the present invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
20 With reference to Figs. 1 to 3, a panel of a computer main unit according to the present invention is disposed at the operation end of the main unit and the size and the shape thereof corresponds to the direction of the operation end of the main unit for being engaged to the main unit.
( 3 Referring to Fig. 1 again, the panel of the present invention includes an inner shield 1, an outer shield 2 and at least a display board 3 and can be assemble to the operation end of a computer main unit A. Wherein, Me inner shield 1 has a size and a shape corresponding to the 5 operation end of the computer main unit A and the inner shield 1 at the upper portion thereof provides a shield opening 11 adapted to the main unit A as shown in Fig. 1.
Further, the inner shield 1 at the lower side thereof has a connecting opening 12. Also, an operation button 13 can be attached to the inner shield 1 but it is only an example and belonged to prior art so that no detail will be explained further.
10 The outer shield 2 can cover and join with me inner shield 1 and it is preferable that the outer shield 2 is made of transparent material. Further, the outer shield 2 has a size and a shape corresponding to the operation end of the main unit A as the inner shield does. Meanwhile, a button hole 21 can be provided to accommodate the operation button 13. In addition, the outer shield 2 is provided with a connecting hole 15 22 corresponding to the connecting opening 12 so that a connecting base B on the main unit A can be in a state of insertion. It is noted that the connecting hole 22 is belonged to prior art and no detail will be explained further.
The panel of the present invention is different from the prior art is in that a
display board 3 is provided and it can be seen in Fig. 1 that the display board 3 is 20 disposed between the inner shield 1 and the outer shield 2 and corresponding to the shield opening 11. In fact, the display board 3 can be seen entirely or partly after the panel having been assembled. The display board 3 can be a liquid crystal display or a cold light panel or any other display device. For the cold light panel, two or more deferent color illumination layers are provided and each illumination layer is made of 25 electricity excited light film material. According to the currently used and mature technology, different colors such as white, orange, orange red, pink, green, yellow, blue and red can be obtained by way of selecting from rare earth elements such as
PrF3, NaF3, SmF3, EuF3, TbF3, DyF3, HoF3, ErF3, TmF3, YbF3, MnF2. The display 3 is electrically connected to the main unit A so as to take the electricity and generate excited cold light. Therefore, the display 3 can be selected with different colors through arrangement of different illumination layer materials.
5 For the liquid crystal display, it has circuit connected to the main unit and the control device so as to perform the function of displaying. The art related to the liquid crystal display is conventional so that no detail will be explained further. As for the control of color selection, it can be preset a switching time via press button or software. 10 Besides, the display board 3 can display characters, numbers or pictures in addition to the background such that a function of showing information such as time,
temperature, À. and etc. can be performed. The operation of the information display is illustrated in Fig. 3. This is related to a selection on design and belonged to the prior art so that no detail will be explained further. But, it is noted that this is only an

Due to the panel being provided with the display board 3, colors can be shown via display and changeability of displayed colors can be achieved by way of different display materials in company with hardware design. pictures can be operated with change between colors and the display of information can be executed accordingly. Furthermore, the user can self reset and select the operation so that it makes the panel of the computer main unit attain an effectiveness for more humanization. These are not possible reached by the conventional panel of 25 computer main unit.
While the invention has been described with reference to a preferred
embodiment thereof, it is to be understood that modifications or variations may be easily made without departing from the spirit of this invention, which is defined by the appended claims.
Claims (10)
1. A panel of computer main unit, comprising a display board, being attached to an operation end of the main unit and becoming a watched part after being assembled; and 5 a circuit, being connected to the main unit for showing colors.
2. The panel of computer main unit as defined in claim 1, wherein the display board is a cold light display board and is disposed between the operation end of the main unit and a transparent outer shield.
3. The panel of computer main unit as defined in claim it, wherein the display 10 board can be provided with two or more cold light plates and shows different colors.
4. The panel of computer main unit as defined in claim 3, wherein the cold lights, which can show two or more different colors, can show a background and a
picture.
5. The panel of computer main unit as defined in claim 3, wherein one of the 15 cold light display board can show information and the information can be time, temperature or related data.
6. The panel of computer main unit as defined in claim 3, wherein each of the cold light display board can be shown with sections visually.
7. The panel of computer main unit as defined in claim 1, wherein the display 20 board is liquid crystal display.
8. The panel of computer main unit as defined in claim 7, wherein the liquid crystal display can be operated with a press button or software.
9. The panel of computer main unit as defined in claim 7, wherein the liquid crystal display can show information such as time, temperature and any other data
( 7 related to the main unit itself.
10. The panel of computer main unit as defined in claim 7, wherein the liquid crystal display is Covered with a transparent outer shield
