Abstract

A device for use with washed articles, e.g. clothes, comprising a pair of body members 2 each having a jaw and a finger grip portion and the device further comprising an embedded weight 1. Each body member 2 may be circular in shape and have a raised outer lip. A spring means may be provided to urge the jaws towards one another.

Description

WINDY WEIGHTS

This invention relates to Windy Weights. Ordinary pinch-type clothes pegs are only suitable for securing the top of washed articles to a clothesline for drying. When you wash large or long pieces of washing such as sheets, towels, Jeans or curtains, they are often blown around and become entangled with the washline, which prevents proper drying.

It is the principle object of the invention to provide an improved weighted clothespeg that can be used on line but mainly off line by attaching to the bottom of such clothes to prevent them from flapping about in the wind.

This will enable the clothes to dry faster and help prevent shrinkage.

These Windy Weights are simple in construction, easy clipper actions, inexpensive to manufacture and effective.

The advantages of Windy Weights will be apparent from the following description when read with reference to the drawings.

This pinch-Wpe Windy Weight is a pair of round body members each having a Font jaw and outwardly thumb or finger gap. Each body member being constructed of plastic with a heavy weight member embodied within.

A none-slip material each side of the online groove. A spring action for opening between the thumb and finger grips. 1 he outward side as a raised lip. Windy Weights will be manufactured in all colours.
