Abstract
A public telephone is provided with a UV emitter which sanitises the mouthpiece of the handset. A timer mechanism automates the activation of the UV emitter. The handset may have a reflective surface to efficiently distribute UV rays. Sound holes in the handset may be shaped and sized to reduce microbe habitable surface area. Alternatively the mouthpiece of the handset may include a sound permeable non perforated cover.
Description
DESCRIPTION
THE DETOX PUBLIC TELEPHONE BOX (DPTB)
In light of recent scientific knowledge identifying the public telephone as a prime potential source for the contraction of viral diseases such as meningitis, this invention is provided as a preventative measure.
It works with the use of a UV sanitising mechanism, reflective surface lining and a reduction in microbe habitable surface area.
In terms of competitive strategy it is considered that this invention would be both commercially viable and desirable to all tele communication companies.
The following drawings provide a representation of this invention.
6. 1 Displays a traditional public telephone box and points to the placement of the featured emitters' the timing mechanism, and areas and direction of gxposure. fig. 2 Shqvvs the design of the hand set speaker section. i.e. the cover ofthe plptqnetic inductor. It depicts the less severe inclines of the speaker hi, stupid conducive to the direction of exposure.

Claims (5)
1. A detox telephone box with a W sanitising emitter(s) targeted primarily towards the handset mouthpiece or the handset generally.
Automated in activation with a timing mechanism.
2. As in claim 1. with a handset having an optional reflective surface.
3. As in claims 1,2 with handset speaker section hole(s) (electromagnetic inductor cover) shaped' sized and placed conducive to a maximum or reasonable sanitising eject.
4. As in claims 1,2 with an alternative and unique sound permeable, non perforated speaker section cover.
5. As in the above claims where the speaker section cover has a inner reflective surface in order to effectively distribute UV rays in the gap between the cover and its inner workings.
