Abstract

A travel toothbrush comprises a bristle carrier 1 with a hollow stem which is screwed onto the end of a tube 2 containing toothpaste. In use, pressure on a plunger type disc 3 forces toothpaste through the hollow stem and out through holes amongst the bristles 4. The bristles may be covered with a cap 5, whereas a cap 4 covers the bottom of the tube. The toothpaste in the tube may be replaced by screwing onto the top of an ordinary toothpaste tube. The bristle carrier may also be screwed onto an ordinary toothpaste tube and used by squeezing the tube to deliver paste to the brush head.

THIS INVENTION IS A TOOTHBRUSH AND TOOTHPASTE TUBE ALL IN ONE.
THE TOOTHBRUSH WHICH HAS A HOLLOW STEM 1 IN FIG 1 IS SCREWED ONTO THE
TOP OF THE TUBE 2 IN FIG 1.
THE IDEA IS THAT THE TOOTHPASTE IS SQUEEZED UP THE TUBE FROM THE
BOTTOM BY PRESSING A PLUNGER TYPE DISC 3 IN FIG I UPWARDS, IT THEN GOES UP
THE HOLLOW TOOTHBRUSH AND EXITS THROUGH A SERIES OF HOLES LOCATED
AMONGST THE BRISTI,ES OF THE TOOTHBRUSH 4 IN FIG 1.
AFTER USE THE TOOTHBRUSH CAN BE WASHED AND REMAIN CONNECTED TO THE
TUBE AND COVERED BY A CAP 5 IN FIG 1.
THE BOTTOM OF THE TUBE WILL. ALSO BE COVERED BY A CAP 6 IN FIG 1.
THE TOP OF THE TUBE MAY ALSO INCORPERATE AN INNER FEMALE THREAD 1 IN
FIG 2, SO THAT AN ORDINARY TUBE OF TOOTHPASTE CAN BE SCREWED INTO IT FOR
REFILLING 2 IN FIG 2.
THE IDEA OF THE INVENTION IS THAT IT IS COMPACT AND CLEAN, KEPT IN THE
POCKET OR PURSE AND USED WHENEVER NECESSARY.
THE HOI,LOW TOOTHBRUSH COULD ALSO BE MADE SO THAT IT CAN BE SCREWED
DIRECTLY ONTO AN ORDINARY TUBE OF TOOTHPASTE AND USED IN THAT WAY.

  1. ; TRAVEL TOOTHBRUSH.
    l THIS TOOTHBRUSH IS HOLLOW SO WHEN TOOTHPASTE IS FORCED UP
    IT THE TOOTHPASTE EXITS THROUGH A SERIES OF HOLES AMONGST
    ITS BRISTLES
    THE HOLLOW TOOTHBRUSH IS ATTACHED TO A TUBE WITH A
    PLUNGER TYPE DISC INSIDE WHICH PUSHES UP AND TOOTHPASTE
    EXITS THROUGH THE HOLES AMONGST ITS BRISTLES.
    THE TUBE CAN BE MADE TN A WAY SO THAT IT CAN BE FILLED BY AN
    ORDINARY TUBE OF TOOTHPASTE, ie WITH AN INNER THREAD AT THE TOP. THE HOLLOW TOOTHBRUSH CAN BE SCREWED DTRFCTLY ONTO AN
    ORDINARY TUBE OF TOOTHPASTE AND USED IN THAT WAY.
