Abstract

A portable fishing platform which is easily assembled by fitting four adjustable legs which may be stored within the device when it is not in use. The legs 1, 2, 3, and 4 are fitted into preformed apertures within the frame 5 and held in position by hand adjusted fixing screws 6. A carrying handle 8 is attached to the frame. The platform has a facility 7 to support an umbrella.

DESCRIPTION THE INVENTION RELATES TO A FISHING PLATFORM CAN BE CARRIED AND ASSEMBLED WITH EASE WHEREVER AN ANGLER HAS TO WADE OUT IN WATER TO FISH.
SUCH PLATFORMS, WHICH ARE WIDELY USED, ELIMINATES THE USE OF A SEAT BOX, THEREFORE CUTTING OUT CARRYING ANY EXCESS WEIGHT, BUT STILL BEING ABLE TO FISH IN COMFORT.
WHEN ASSEMBLED THE PLATFORM IS VERY STABLE AND STRONG WHICH ALLOWS THE ANGLER TO FISH OUT IN THE WATER BUT STILL HAVE ALL HIS BAIT AND TACKLE AT HAND.
THE PLATFORM ITSELF IS MADE FROM LIGHT WEIGHT BOX SECTION ALLOY WHICH IS WELDED IN EACH OF ITS FOUR CORNERS FOR STRENGTH, THE LEGS WHICH ARE ALSO BOX SECTION ALLOY, WHEN FULLY TIGHTENED ELIMINATES ANY SLIPPAGE WHEN SEATED.

THE FIVE HAND WHEELS 6, ARE HELD BY AN 8 mm BRASS INSERT THROUGH THE FRAME 5,7.
AS SHOWN IN FIG' THE LEGS 1,2, 3,4, ARE STORED WITHIN THE FRAME 5, AND CROSS MEMBER 9, THE CROSS MEMBER 9, IS WELDED TO THE FRAME 5, FOR ADDED STRENGTH.

Claims (7)

1. A FISHING PLATFORM THAT CAN BE EASILY ASSEMBLED BY ADJUSTING FOUR LEGS THAT ARE STORED WITHIN THE FRAME.
2. A FISHING PLATFORM AS CLAIMED IN CLAIM 1 WInCH HAS FOUR HAND WHEELS WHICH LOCK EACH LEG SEPERATLEY.
3. A FISHING PLATFORM AS CLAIMED IN CLAIM 1 OR CLAIM 2 THAT IS VERY LIGHT AND CAN HOUSE A LARGE GROUNDBAIT BOWL AND THREE BAIT TUBS WHEN FULLY ASSEMBLED.
4. A FISHING PLATFORM AS CLAIMED IN CLAIM 3 WHICH HAS A CARRYING HANDLE FOR EASE OF TRANSPORTATION.
5. A FISHING PLATFORM AS CLAIMED IN ANY PRECEDING CLAIM THAT HAS A FACILITY FOR AN UMBRELLA TO BE ANCHORED AT THE REAR OF THE PLATFORM.
6. A FISHING PLATFORM AS CLAIMED IN ANY PRECEDING CLAIM WHICH IS MADE OF ALUMINIUM, BRASS.
7. A FISHING PLATFORM SUBSTANTIALLY AS HEREIN DESCRIBED AND ILLUSTRATED IN THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS.
