Abstract

A device that fits tightly into the neck of a bottle, to restrict an individual placing drugs or any foreign objects into the bottle that could contaminate the drink. The device consists of two component parts a filter cap and a hollow body section that are permanently joined. The filter cap has a ring that narrows the bottle opening restricting any access to foreign objects. The external appearance clearly shows moulded in ribs that help retain the device firmly in the bottle neck. This ensures that the device cannot be removed without first destroying the bottle. The ring may be supported by four struts to ensure the holes are significantly reduced in size.

"Stop-Cock" There is currently a growing problem of drug related sexual crime. The primary function of this design is to prevent foreign objects of any description, for example,"rape drugs", from entering and contaminating bottled drink. This device fits into the neck of the bottle and provides protection from foreign objects entering the bottle whilst still allowing liquid to flow freely out of the bottle. A user could, for example, drink unhindered from a bottle equipped with this device. The device also has the potential to stop contamination from other foreign objects, for example, cigarette butts.

Claims (6)

  1. Claims 1. A Plastic device that fits into the neck of a bottle, it will act to restrict an individual placing drugs or any foreign objects into the bottle that could contaminate the drink.
  2. 2. A device as claimed in claim 1 has a plastic component filter cap which contains a ring supported by four struts to ensure that the holes are significantly restricted in size to remove the risk of contamination.
  3. 3. This device as claimed in claim 1 has a hollow body section component that contains moulded in ribs these ensure a tight fit in the bottle ensuring that once the device is placed into the neck, it cannot be removed without first destroying the bottle.
  4. 4. The device as claimed in claim 2 and 3 consists of two pieces shown clearly in the relevant technical drawing page one of five these parts are joined by heat to form one basic component that performs the above task as illustrated in the product description.
  5. 5. The device as claimed in any proceeding claim that can be made from any blend or mix of plastics.
  6. 6. A drug rape preventative device herein described above and illustrated in the accompanying drawings
