Abstract

The toilet cistern siphon is fitted with an integral extraction fan unit which is powered by electric mains or battery power. The unit is activated by depressing a switch button affixed to the underside of the toilet seat. When activated the unit will remove odorous air from the toilet pan through the siphon and out via the toilet cistern overflow outlet.

VENTA-LOO TOILET VENTILATION SYSTEM Description :- This invention relates to a ventilation system for a toilet by incorporating a ventilated siphon to the toilet cistern with extraction being affected by siphon connection to the overflow outlet with connection of a coupling junction as per our drawing submission titled'Venta-Loo' Background :- Most establishments either business or domestic have problems in the location of toilet facilities and bad odours omitted from such locations, this invention deals with the removal of odorous smells through existing toilet infrastructure without the necessity of changing the sanitary equipment other than provision and fitting of the ventilation siphon. Details of which contained in this invention application will replace none ventilated siphons, or the ventilated siphon is manufactured and available to use on new toilet systems.
The ventilated siphon is not to our knowledge registered or patented as a singular complete unit and as such we claim the rights to the concept relative to the admission.
The ventilated siphon will be known as'Venta-Loo'and we claim the rights to the description/title as per our drawing submission titled'Venta-Loo'and all that specification illustrates.

Claims (5)

1. A toilet cistern siphon that is fitted with an integral extraction fan unit.
2. A toilet cistern extraction unit that is powered by electricity mains or battery power.
3. A toilet cistern siphon extraction unit system that is activated through a pressure switch button located under the toilet seat.
4. A toilet cistern siphon extraction unit fan that is vented through a coupling fitted to the cistern water overflow outlet
5. A toilet cistern siphon extraction unit substantially as herein described and illustrated in drawings submitted relative to the above patent application GB 00276139 of 10"'Nov 2000.
