Abstract

A device for use in changing light bulbs has a handle 2 which is adaptable in length, and a suction cup 1 at one end. Preferably the suction cup is provided with a hole, and may be attached to a vacuum cleaner by means of a cone-shaped attachment 4, so as to create the necessary vacuum within the suction cup in order to grip a light bulb.

LIGHT BULB EXCHANGER INVENTION A light bulb exchanger which makes it easy to replace a light bulb while standing safely on the floor It has an adaptable length tubular handle 2 which fits together by means of interlocking couplings 3 which simply push together Several sections can be added to reach greater hights The suction cup 1 is in one piece and made from flexible plastic Top veiw 1 with hole in centre to allow air to create vacuum and adere to bulb.
The device is attached to vacuum cleaner tool tube by means of 4 which is a cone shaped attachment with ribs on the inside which allow different size cleaner tubes to be held securely in place To use connect bulb exchanger to cleaner by placing tool extention tube into connector and pushing firmly into place Switch on cleaner apply 1 to light bulb to create a vacuum which attaches bulb to exchanger which allows bulb to be removed and replaced with a new one Swith off cleaner to release suction

CLAIMS 1 A device for the use of changing light bulbs 2 This device makes it possible to change a light bulb without use of a step ladder 3 This devise helps to prevent accidents in the home or workplace 4 This device is made entirely from plastic for safety reasons 5 This device is easy to use 6 This device is light in weight 7 This device fits easily to most domestic vacuum cleaners It works by the suction from cleaner traveling up the hollow handle and into the cup shaped No
    1 head which attaches firmly to the bulb which can the be removed by a simple twist anticlockwise or by unscrewing
