Abstract

Markers attached to the stem of a glass that may vary in shape or colour in order to identify one glass from another. The markers may be shaped as a ring (fig 2) with a slit in order to aid removal and placement of the marker onto the stem or spiral shaped (fig 3). A letter or symbol may be imprinted on the marker, with the markers used individually or in combination.

Description Party-tags At parties and other social gatherings where people are drinking similar drinks from identical glasses the'lost glass'is a perennial problem.
Party-tags make it easier to identify one's own glass.
Small markers are attached to the stem of the glass. The markers vary in colour and/or shape and can also have a letter or other symbol imprinted on them.
When searching for that last glass one need only look for a glass with an identical marker or markers to one's own. When single markers are used there is still the possibility that two glasses with identical markers will be found. Using markers in combination, either in differing colours or with, say, one's initials imprinted on them, makes any confusion less likely.
The tags are a simple and unobtrusive means of identifying lost glasses and can easily be removed for washing and storage.

  1. Claims 1. A marker with distinguishing features that can be attached to the stem of a wineglass or any other type of glass with a stem.

  2. 2. Any marker attached to the stem of a glass where colour is its main distinguishing feature.
