Abstract
A circling support for a decorative light bulb string comprises a plate 1, a spiral frame 2 with a channel-shaped cross-section having a plurality of bulb holders (21, Fig 2) electrically connected by wires within the frame, where the frame has slots on its inner side for receiving supporting threads 3 attached to the plate 1 via grooves, and a rod 12 connected to the plate for supporting the frame.
Description
"Circling Support for Light Bulb String" A conventional decorative light bulb string is usually used independently in a hanging state or being placed on a support. The monotonous hanging bulb string cannot provide variable decorations. If a support is used for the bulb string hanging, the solid structure of the support will be trouble when it is unused or is stored. It is not economic and utilized.
Accordingly, the primary object of the invention is to provide a circling support for hanging a light bulb string easily and to display a special lighting effect. The circling support can also be stored with a very small volume in convenience. Now the features and advantages of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a plan view showing a circling support and a hanging light bulb string according to the present invention.
Figure 2 is a perspective view showing a part of the circling support and the bulb string according to the present invention.
Figure 3 is a perspective view of a round place and a part of a supporting rod according to the present invention.
Referring to Figures 1 to 3, the present invention is to provide a circling support for a hanging light bulb string. The circling support includes a round plate (1) with a bottom connecting groove (11) and a circling frame (22), which
is U-shaped and has many bulb holder (21) thereon. The electrical wires (22) placed in the frame (2) have the conductive pins being received in the bulb holder (21) for electrical connection as a bulb assembly (24) is connected with the holder (21). Both inner sides of the frame (2) are provided with a slot (23).
A thread (3) has its upper end connecting with the round plate (1) and several balls (31) are formed on the thread (3). The thread (3) can be put into the slot (23) of the frame (2), wherein the ball (31) can support the frame (2) respectively. When a rod (12) has its upper end to engage with the groove (11) of the round plate (1) and supports the plate (1) upward, the frame (2) becomes a circling structure with a beautiful decorative effect, as shown in Figure 1.
As to store the present invention, it is very easy to take off the rod (12) from the groove (11) of the plate (1). The circling frame (2) can be received in a plan structure only having a small volume. It is to be understood that the improvement will be obtained due to this invention.
As above mentioned, the present invention obviously gains the utility and novelty for patent and is thus applied.
Claims (4)
1. A circling support for a light bulb string including a round plate with a bottom connecting groove and a U-shaped circling frame having a plurality of bulb holder (21) thereon; the electrical wires placed in the frame having the conductive pins being received in the bulb holder for electrical connection as a bulb assembly being connected with the holder, wherein both inner sides of the frame are provided with a slot and a thread has its upper end connecting with the round plate and several balls are formed on the thread, which can be put into the slot of the frame, while the ball can support the frame respectively; a rod having its upper end to engage with the groove of the round plate and supporting the plate upward, and the frame becoming a circling structure.
2. The circling support for a light bulb string as claimed in Claim 1, wherein the rod can be easily taken off from the groove of the plate and the circling frame can be received in a plan structure only having a small volume.
3. A support device for a plurality of light bulbs comprising a plate, a support frame of spiral form secured to the plate, the support frame comprising a member of channel shaped cross-section, the frame having a plurality of bulb holder regions for holding the light bulbs, an electrical cable being located within the channel of the frame, the frame being provided with a plurality of slots, the plate carrying a plurality of threads, each thread extending through at least one of the slots, and retainer means to prevent the thread sliding through the slots.
4. A support device substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
