Abstract

A clipboard has a clip 2 moulded to the left hand side of board 1, with a sleeve/pocket 3 moulded to the rear of the board. The sleeve/pocket 3 may hold credit cards and the board 1 may be transparent.

Description

CLIP BOARD The invention relates to a board of the type, which can be leaned on for writing or marking of paper, which will be held on the board by means of the clip, whilst holding it with one hand or placed on a firm surface Such boards are well known but suffer from the disadvantage of being too large with the clip either in the wrong position or not attached to the board An object of this invention is to provide a clipboard, which can be used when sitting or standing in a comfortable position and stored or carried with a lot more ease Accordingly this invention provides a transparent clipboard with a clip permanently fixed or moulded onto the left hand side with a small insert moulded into the rear right hand side of the board for holding credit card or other cards of a similar size The board will be made of plastic, metal, wood materials in different colours or from a combination of these materials, or any other appropriate material.

A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which FIGURE 1 shows a front view of the board and the clip FIGURE 2 shows a rear view of the board and the insert for the card FIGURE 3 shows a front view of the board at an angle As shown in figure 1 the board (1) as a flat surface with a clip (2) to the left centre of the board Figure 2 shows the rear of the board (1) with the moulded insert (3) placed about two thirds of the way down on the right hand side, (when looking from the front view) of the board (1) Figure 3 shows an angled view of the board (1) to show the shape of the insert (3) and its position in relation with the clip (2) The board (1) will have a flat surface on which the paper will sit secured by the clip (2) too enable it to be used at any angle, with the insert (3) moulded into the rear to retain a credit card or membership card in such a way that the card will not fall out when the board (1) is being used or carried

CLAIMS 1. A clipboard with a clip moulded onto the front left hand side, and a insert moulded into the rear for use in holding credit cards or cards of similar size
2. A board as in claim 1 which may be of any colour and which maybe transparent
3. A board as in claim 1 or claim 2 where the clip may be spring operated or made of a springy material
4. A board as claimed in any proceeding claim which is made from plastic Material, metal, wood, a combination these materials or any other appropriate material
5. A clipboard substantially as herein described and illustrated in the Accompanying drawings Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows 1.
