THE VALUES DOLL
This invention relates to a human values doll.
Dolls have been used by children for centuries, as playthings, pretend friends or make-believe babies. They are beloved toys by many children and there is a great variety of functional dolls to choose from these days, however, their functions are mostly always of a physical, or motor, nature only e.g. talking, drinking, walking.
According to the present invention, it introduces a new element to children which is ancient but has been eroded in modern society - that of human values. The human values doll shows that, essentially, within every heart there lies the five universal values of Truth, Love, Peace, Rightconduct and Non-violence, regardless of skin colour or gender.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Fig. 1 shows how the doll will look on the shelf, fully dressed.
Fig. 2 - shows the doll with its top removed showing the heart centre flower-shaped door which opens Fig. 3 - shows the heart centre flowershaped door open, revealing a removable paper book called 'Values' Fig. 4 - shows the doll with the heart centre flower-shaped door open, the book has been removed and the inside of the heart centre is imprinted with the five values of Truth, Love, Peace, Right-Conduct and Non-Violence (an example of the imprinting Is shown) À Fig. 5 - shows the book enlarged and in more detail, revealing five sections to the book, one each on Truth, Love, Peace, Right-Conduct and Non-Violence Referring to the drawings, the doll will be manufactured in all skin colours, all hair colours and both sexes, although the genitalia will be extremely subtle.
The doll will be dressed in colourful costumes but all with an easily opened top, opening from the front, to reveal the heart centre flowershaped door. The clothes are less important than the doll itself. Other costumes may be made available at a later date. The material the doll is made of is to be determined later but would preferably be of an ecologically-sound material.
