Abstract

Props representing equipment from existing sports and games to be used as aids for the purpose of coaching specific table tennis strokes and to improve ball placement and control. Examples of the props are the football goal 1 and basketball net 2 and the 'Noughts and Crosses' game (1, fig 2). The props may be used on any suitable flat surface.

Description

Description This invention relates to props representing equipment from popular identifiable sports and games e. g. football, basketball and noughts and crosses etc. used as aids in the coaching of specific table tennis strokes, ball placement and control. The props are to be of a suitable size to fit on a table tennis table, but could equally be used on another surface.

Claims (3)

  1. CLAIMS 1. Freestanding targets based on existing sports and games equipment which can be used as; a) aids in coaching bat and ball skills in table tennis i. e. in instructing techniques, ball control and placement in serving or in playing the basic table tennis strokes. The aim is to improve accuracy in hitting the required targets [see examples in the Description in Figures 1,2 and 3.] and b) as games to be played for enjoyment.
  2. 2. Targets as claimed in Claim 1 whereby the size allows them to be placed within the boundaries of a table tennis table surface.
  3. 3. Targets as claimed in Claim 1 and 2 that can be used on any flat surface.
