Abstract

An operating table is supplied with cold air via an air conditioning unit though a series of outlets whereby a patient's temperature may be controlled during surgery.

Description

WORKING UNIT OF COLD OPERATING TABLE The object of this cold operating table is to control the body temperature of patients during surgery.
The design of this table may vary as further development is still on going.

Claims (1)

  1. CLAIMS COLD BED A cold bed operating table comprises an air conditioning unit connected to a series of ducts and pipework to enable cold air to pass, at a pressure, through the system and over the body. Thus maintaining the correct body temperature for surgery to be carried out.
    The cold bed also has the versatility, through a pump action system, to be raised and lowered to the correct height for surgery. Maneuverability is obtained via a locking wheeled system.
