Abstract

The device comprises a shaft made from a robust material with a handle at one end and a hook at the other end which in use is attached to a dog's collar to allow control of the dog. The device can also be used as a toy for the dog to retrieve.

Description

Doe Handling Device.
The invention is for quick and easy control of dogs, thus avoiding the need to attach a traditional lead to the dog collar. It hooks round the collar enabling the owner to control their dog whenever a situation arises for it to be necessary, such as the approach of a vehicle, or another dog etc It can be time-consuming and difficult to attach a lead for short-term situations, especially when the dog owner is wearing gloves.
The device comprises a handle and a shaft, at the end of which is a hook that holds a dog collar. See fig. 1.
When not in use for controlling the dog, the device, which will be made of a robust material, can be used as a toy for the dog to retrieve
