Abstract

The scooter has a steering column with a bottom post 30 rotatable in bearings 33, 34 in a fixed laterally extending seat 21, the post being rotatably coupled to a plate 35. The plate rear has coupled to it two linkages 45, 45', each comprising two pivoted arms. The outer end of each arm other than that coupled to the plate 35 is rotatably coupled to a respective pivot shaft 39, 40 carried in bearings 391, 392, 42, 420 in a hollow part of the seat 21. Each shaft 39, 40 has a lateral aperture into which is mounted the inner end of a wheel axle 48. Thus, rotation of the column, rotates the plate 35, this being transmitted through the linkages 45, 45' to swing the axles 48 in elongate slots 25 in the seat 23.

Description

TITLE : SKATEBOARD DEVICE
The present invention relates to a skateboard device.

However, it is not easy to steer the handle frame 13.
, An object of the present invention is to provide a skateboard device which can be deflected easily.
Accordingly, a skateboard device comprises a handle assembly having a handle bar and an adjustment rod, the adjustment rod connected to the handle bar, a post disposed on a bottom of the adjustment rod, a positioning seat receiving the post, a collar enclosing a lower end of the adjustment rod, a board connected to the positioning seat, a rear wheel support frame connected to the board, a rear wheel supported by the rear wheel support frame, two front wheels, two vibrating shafts, an upper bearing, a lower bearing, a first linkage set, a second linkage set, a first upper roller, a first lower roller, a first
pivot shaft, a second upper roller, a second lower roller, and a second pivot shaft. The positioning seat has a center hole, and two distal portions. Each of the distal portions of the positioning seat has a hollow interior and an end oblong aperture communicating with the hollow interior. The post has a bottom hole and two chamfered edges. The post passes through the upper bearing, the center hole of the positioning seat, and the lower bearing. An oblong plate has an oblong hole and two round apertures. A stud passes through the oblong hole of the oblong plate. The stud is inserted in the bottom hole of the post. The first linkage set has a first end through aperture and a first end circular hole. The second linkage set has a second end through aperture and a second end circular hole. The first pivot shaft has a first lateral aperture, two first chamfered bevels, and a first bottom through hole. The second pivot shaft has a second lateral aperture, and a second bottom through hole. The first upper roller, the first pivot shaft, and the first lower roller are inserted in the respective hollow interior of the positioning seat. The second upper roller, the second pivot shaft, and the second lower roller are inserted in the respective hollow interior of the positioning seat. A first screw fastens the first linkage set and the oblong plate together. A second screw
fastens the second linkage set and the oblong plate together. A first bolt is inserted through the first end through aperture of the first linkage set and inserted in the first bottom through hole of the first pivot shaft.
A second bolt is inserted through the second end through aperture of the second linkage set and inserted in the second bottom through hole of the second pivot shaft.
The vibrating shafts are connected to the front wheels. Each of the vibrating shafts has a threaded end inserted through the respective lateral aperture.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. f is an elevational view of a conventional skateboard device of the prior art; FIG. 2 is a partially perspective assembly view of a skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention; FIG. 3 is a partially perspective exploded view of a skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention; FIG. 4 is a partially sectional view of a skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention; FIG. 5 is a bottom plan view of a skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention; and
FIG. 6 is a schematic view illustrating an operation of a skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
Referring to FIGS. 2 to 6, a skateboard device comprises a handle assembly 26 having a handle bar 27 and an adjustment rod 28, the adjustment rod 28 connected to the handle bar 27, a post 30 disposed on a bottom of the adjustment rod 28, a positioning seat 21 receiving the post 30, a collar 29 enclosing a lower end of the adjustment rod 28, a board 20 connected to the positioning seat 21, a'rear wheel support frame 51 connected to the board 20, a rear wheel 50'supported by the rear wheel support frame 51, two front wheels 50, two vibrating shafts 48, an upper bearing 33, a lower bearing 34, a first linkage set 45, a second linkage set 45', a first upper roller 42, a first lower roller 420, a first pivot shaft 40, a second upper roller 391, a second lower roller 392, and a second pivot shaft 39.
The positioning seat 21 has a center hole 22, and two distal portions 23.
Each of the distal portions 23 of the positioning seat 21 has a hollow interior 24 and an end oblong aperture 25 communicating with the hollow interior 24.
The post 30 has a bottom hole 32 and two chamfered
edges 31.
The post 30 passes through the upper bearing 33, the center hole 22 of the positioning seat 21, and the lower bearing 34.
An oblong plate 35 has an oblong hole 36 and two round apertures 38.
A stud 37 passes through the oblong hole 36 of the oblong plate 35.
The stud 37 is inserted in the bottom hole 32 of the post 30.
The first linkage set 45 has a first end through
aperture 451 and a first end circular hole 452.
. .
The second linkage set 45'has a second end through aperture 4511 and a second end circular hole 452'.
The first pivot shaft 40 has a first lateral aperture 41, two first chamfered bevels 43, and a first bottom through hole 44.
The second pivot shaft 39 has a second lateral aperture 390, and a second bottom through hole (not shown in the figures).
