Abstract

A device, which may be attached to a key ring, provides an audible alert when it receives an incoming telephone call, thereby allowing lost objects to be found. The telephone call may be made directly to the device, or via a national centre.

Description

stress when they are misplaced such as Keys Wallet/Purse Remote Control Briefcase The idea being that the device has a number that can be telephoned When the number is telephoned an alarm is triggered therefore enabling the item to be located.
The idea is similar to the 'whistle key fob' but this is more reliable and you don't feel stupid trying to whistle correctly when you are stressed.
A contact telephone number can be placed on the reverse of the unit in case your keys or wallet or anything that the unit is attached to is lost elsewhere other than your immediate prescence possibly liquid crystal display.
The unit can take the form of different characters such as The Simpsons or similar Also footballs with club colours, mini mobile phones.
The unit can be sold as part of a mobile phone package using the same telephone number prefixed with # The unit can also play different tunes.

Claims (6)

Claims
1 The Telelocator is a pocket-sized device containing a telephone "receiver" and alarm.
2 The receiver is a microchip capable of receiving a telephone signal.
3 The alarm is activated by receipt of an incoming telephone signal.
4 To activate the Telelocator, the user dials a designate number, unique to the individual Telelocator unit, which then activates the alarm contained within the unit thus alerting the user to the whereabouts of the Telelocator unit.
Items such as keys can be attached to the locator.
6 Alternatively the locator can be activated via a national centre who transmit a signal, upon receipt of a request from the user (via telephone or otherwise), to the telelocator unit.
