Abstract

This press framework (1) allows four way strapping of compressed pallets loads without the use of a turntable or moving of pallet. Being single leg framework simple operation by one person is possible. The use of spacers on a pressure plate (2) in both directions allows strap to be passed four ways. This creating a lattice work (3) of entries for strap. The platen is guided by means of circular curved guide plates inside main framework uprights (4).

Description
The invention relates to a Press framework allowing four way strapping of compressed objects. Other Presses suffer from only allowing two way strapping, unless other equipment is used to turn the load. The object of this invention is to allow strapping of a load under a single compression. Accordingly this Framework provides a single legged structure incorporating guides for the pressure plate which has four way lattice work attached. The Framework is of steel construction, latticework constructed from wooden blocks. A preferred embodiment of this invention will now be described with Reference to the accompanying drawing in which: (1) Shows Framework. (2) Shows wooden blocks. (3) Shows latticework on pressure plate. (3) Shows exploded view of guide system.
As shown at (1) vertical posts of frame attached to a steel base, creating a frame that will allow four way strapping. The guides (4) allow movement of pressure plate in all directions. The blocks (2) allow a latticework (3) to be achieved. The uprights are strengthened by use of vertical supports, and tank stand.
