Abstract
A cartridge for holding and dispensing fixing items such as nails 4 comprises a body 5 containing a series of the items 4 carried by a strip of material, the body having an outlet through which an end of the strip and a leading one of the items 4 can project. Nails 4 may thus be dispensed by pushing the other end of the strip with a slider 1 operated manually or by a spring or fluid actuator of a nailing device. The strip of material comprises connecting portions 2 between each nail, each portion 2 being a twist to position a nail as shown at 7 on exit from the body 5. When nails are struck to drive them into something, they become separated from the strip leaving a spent portion 6. The cartridge can be rigid or flexible and of any suitable shape such as round, flat, oblong, spiral, oval, straight, curved or concertina-shaped.

SPECIFICATION
Method of holding and inserting driven nails or other fixing agents.
1. This invention relates to building and construction. 2. In the fabricating or on site or in factory units that requires a constructive multiple fixing or a single repeatable fixing either continuously or individually nails inter-alia must be carried and held by the operator.
3. This invention seeks to enable the operator to transport and carry onto or into the area of work quantities of nails or other similar fixings.
4. This invention enables the application to be carried out more speedily.
5. This invention is able to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the fixing.
6. This invention ensures a safer application of the fixing by removing from the position of impact the hand and fingers.
This invention relates to multiple nail applications.
A nail cartridge dispenser whereby a number of nails are located in a dispenser.
Such a problem now exists where large quantities or multiple quantities of nail.,;)r 1 fixing mediums have to be driven into surfaces for the purpose of joining or secunkg sections together.
This invention seeks to resolve the problem of carrying holding or the carting)r passing or movement of nails on site or in elevated or remote or awkward ph S where the fixing is applied by the application of hand force by striking both or using a hand held device such as a harnmer or other tool for the purpose of inserting a fludilg nail or screw to join together constructional sections or floors or walls.
NAIL CARTRIDGE DISPENSER SPECIFIC EMBODIMENT The invention described by way of example with reference to drawing which:- Figure 1. shows one concept layout for principle only.
1. Slide 2. Aline twist to position nail 3. Dispenser 4. Nail (fixing) in cartridge 5. Cartridge body 6. Spent dispenser 7. Nail (fixing) ready for application MATERIALS The Nail Cartridge Dispenser can be made of metal plastic wood or a combination)f these materials or laminates or composites of given materials.
