Abstract

The present invention solves a problem with how to achieve a matched antenna comprising a retractable whip (104) and which is fed via a transmission line (108) by providing a support means (101) comprising a transmission line in a first end connected to at least a first radiating means (15, 106). Said transmission line and radiating means having a first impedance. Said support means being connectable, in a second end, to circuitry inside a casing (107) for a radio communication device and extending outside said casing. A radiating whip being extendable/retractable through a axial hole in said support and being coupled to said transmission line outside said casing when said whip being in the extended position.
