Abstract

The invention relates to a fishing rod intended for use in fishing where a fly is cast by means of a rod. The fishing rod comprises a frame section (1) and an end guide (2) adapted at its first end, and line guides (4a to 4d) provided between the first end and the handle to guide the fishing line (5). According to the inventive idea, the lowest line guide (6) is provided at the handle (3) in such a manner that the fishing line (5) can be controlled by the fingers of the hand handling the rod. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fastening point of the lowest line guide (6) in the handle can be adjusted. Further, the angular position of the lowest line guide (6) in respect of the rod is adapted as desired.
