Abstract

"A wheelbarrow comprising a container supported by a single front wheel and two rear legs, is provided with a first piece of steel 1 welded to the back of the container, near the wheel, to reinforce the container, and a second piece of steel 2 welded between the lower ends of the legs, to enable the rear end of the container to be safely supported on a scaffold board."

Description

I The inventsion is two pieces of steel BARRELL welded to an existing
inventsion known as a MI-HEELBARROW. The first peice of BARRELL is welded near to the wheel of the WHEELBARROW it aives the existing wheelbarrow extra strength number two a piece of steel barrell welded to the two feet of the wheelbarrow, the advantage of this is when you go up a scaffold board to empty a barrow load of rubbish. The BARRELL acts as a brake to the wheelbarrow because the metal barrell stops the legs from falling down between the plank or scaffold board which most builders seem to use when heading up a skip I discovered this idea because I had a Job involving filling up two skips with earth and turf and old concrete. I was 2=1 ZD finding with the wheel BARROW it was very difficult to push up when loaded it sometimes wanted to come down on me which was dangerous until I done these improvinents which I have described, I would not have thought it would cost no more than L6 pounds additional to the cost C.
of an existing wheelBARROW which is a small price to pay for safety. I have the wheelBARROW I if you would like to look at it and try it outApplication No: GB 9923943.6 My ref: 49 Title: Safety Barrow 2- C L A I M
A wheelbarrow comprising a container supported by a single f ront wheel and two rear legs, provided with a f irst cross-member incorporated into the barrow's design, under the container, at the barrow' s f ront-base near the wheel, to help prevent damage to the f ront-base underside when tipping the barrow at the upper end of an inclined scaf fold board, and a second cross-member incorporated into the barrow's design between the bottom of the legs, preventing them f rom straddling the scaffold board and enabling the barrow's rear end to be safely supported on a scaffold board, the cross-member further acting as a brake to help prevent the barrow sliding down an inclined scaffold board should the barrow-user release the handles for rest or any other reason.
