Abstract

Ridge or hip tiles are fixed in place by a semicircular - section plate which overlies the tiles and is screwed down to the ridge board, either at a tile joint, or by a screw hole drilled in a tile.

Description
This invention relates to securing roof tiles.
During storms or general wear and tear roof tiles roof tiles become detached and may cause immediate or incur damage at a later date. Drawing shows how the attachment securs itself to the ridge tile and ridge board. A durable plastic coating is moulded over a semi circular metal base which sits over roof tiles or rip tiles, which is then secured by a screw through the centre of the ridge -fix into the ridge board, fixing each and between joints.
