Abstract

A self-adhesive nail decoration comprises a coloured or printed nail-shaped film 10 mounted on a backing sheet 50. The film is removed from the sheet, adhered to the nail and trimmed to shape using an emery board. The film may be removed without any kind of remover.

2354706 SOLID DECORATION FOR NAILS The invention relates a decoration for

nails of the type which is applied without brush, is removed without nail-polish-remover and does not need to dry.

The nail-polish is well-known 1u-t;.'stfffers from the disadvantage that, when it is damaged or a person wishes 'o change it, before it is necessary to remove it with nail-polish-remover then apply it with brush and wait for the polish to dry.

An object of this invention is to provide a nail decoration which is quick and easy to apply and remove, without using the brush, the nailpolishremover and waiting for the nail decoration to dry.

Accordingly, this invention provides a decoration for nails including a colured and or printed film, self-adhered on a backing sheet and shaped like the nails of the hands and feet related to most people, so that the film can be removed from the backing sheet and it is put and self-adhered firmly onto the nail and the excess of the film is cut off with an emery board working on the edge of the nail, and the film can be removed without using any type of remover everywhere and every moment.

A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:

FIGURE 1 shows the backing sheet with the film self-adhered; FIGURE 2 shows the film removed from backing sheet; FIGURE 3 shows the film put on the nail; FIGURE 4 shows the film shaped and self-adhered onto the nail; FIGURE 5 shows the film excess cut off with an emery board and FIGURE 6 shows as the film can be removed from the nail.

2 As shown in Figure 1 the film 10 shaped like the nails of the hands and feet, is self-adhered on a backing sheet 50.

As shown in Figure 2 the film 10 is removed in the direction of the arrow 15 from the backing sheet.

As shown in Figure 3 the film 10 is put onto the nail in the direction of the arrow 25.

As shown in Figure 4 the film 10 is shaped and self-adhered onto the nail with light pressure in the direction of the arrow 35.

As shown in Figure 5 the excess of the film 10 is cut off with an emery board working on the edge of the nail in the direction of the arrow 45.

As shown in Figure 6 the film 10 can be removed in the direction of the arrow 55 without using any type of remover.

I A solid decoration for nails including a colo ured and or printed film, self-adhered on a backing sheet and shaped like the nails of the hands and feet related to most people, so that the film can be removed from the backing sheet and it is put and self-adhered firmly onto the nail and the excess of the film is cut off with an emery board working on the edge of the nail, and the film can be removed without using any type of remover everywhere and every moment.
2. A solid decoration for nails as claimed in Claim 1 where the film is made from plastic material or paper, or from a combination of these materials.
3. A solid decoration for nails substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
