Abstract

235,437. Hovenden, H. W. Sept. 26, 1924. Bottles, drying. - Apparatus for drying bottles externally comprises an inclined shoot 1 having rollers 9 on its floor down which the bottles slide under gravity, and apertured elastic diaphragms 13. 17 carried by a frame 10 at the base of the shoot in a plane at right-angles thereto, the bottles being drawn by hand neck first through the apertures, a squeegee action resulting. The diameter of the apertures may be varied so as to accommodate various sized bottles.
