Description

2353955 GOLF AUXILIARY TOOL The present invention relates to a golf
auxiliary tool comprising multiple auxiliary devices, such as a housing in which are installed one or more tee pegs, a pitch mark repairer, one or two sets of cleaning brushes, a score counting disk, and a marker. Thus, the present invention is compact and can be carried by a user.
Many auxiliary devices are used in golf for meeting different requirements. For example, when teeing off, a tee peg must be inserted in the grass for positioning the golf ball. When the green is not smooth so as to affect the travel of the ball, a pitch mark repairer is necessary to repair pitch marks. When dirt has accumulated on the face of a club, a cleaning brush is needed to clean the face. A counting disk is necessary for recording the score. Additionally, a marker serves to mark the position of a ball on the green. All the aforesaid devices are necessary in golf. Although these devices are compact, they are not integrated and thus are inconvenient to carry and store.
Accordingly, a primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a multi-function golf auxiliary tool comprising a receiving housing, one or more tee pegs,'pitch mark repairer, one or two sets of cleaning brushes, a score counting disk, and a marker. One side of the receiving housings is provided with a tee peg and 2 the other side of the housing is provided with the pitch mark repairer. One end of the receiving housing is installed with cleaning brushes, a score counting disk, a marker, and other auxiliary tools, sequentially. Such tools enable a golfer to position a ball at a predetermined position for teeing off, repair a green, remove dirt from the face of a club, record his score, and mark a ball on the green. Therefore, all necessary auxiliary devices are integrally combined in a multi- function tool. Moreover, the present invention may be combined with a key chain to be carried by the user in person.
According to the present invention there is provided a golf auxiliary tool comprising a housing having a first side face in which is formed at least one groove for receiving therein a tee peg, the housing further having a second, opposed side face in which is formed a recess for receiving therein a pitch mark repairer, and an end face in one end region of which is formed at least one slot for receiving therein a cleaning brush, an aperture for receiving therein a rotatable score counting disc being formed in a mid region of said end face, and an arcuate notch for receiving therein a marker being formed in the other end region of said end face, the opposed ends of the notch being spaced apart by a distance less than the diameter of the marker whereby the marker is retained by said notch.
3 Desirably, in a multi-function golf auxiliary tool according to the invention, a plate and/or a mark can be adhered to a selected position on one or both opposed sides of the receiving housing for marking the name of the user and/or the product.
An embodiment of the present invention will be described by way example and with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:

Fi-. 10 is an exploded perspective view of the counting disk in the present invention.
Fl!a. 11 is an assembled cross sectional view showing the counting disk in the present invention.
With reference to F12s. 1-6, the multiple functional golf iliary too] of the present invention I I -1 auxi I I I includes a receiving housing 1, one or more ball emitting posts 2, a grass removing fork 3, one or two sets of cleaning brushes 41 and 42, a counting disk 5, and a mark block 6.
At least one inserting groove I I is installed at one lateral side of the receiving housini4 bodv I for being inserted b the ball emitting I I y posts 2. A aroove 12 is installed at the another lateral side. An Z7 aperture 121 is installed at the place of the groove 12 so that the aperture 121 is adapted to be penetrated bv a locking piece 122and thus to pass through the grass removing fork 33. In aeneral, the arass In 1-:1 11;1 removin- fork 3 is received within the groove 12. As the 0-1. r a s s re m o v I n.c., fork is turned outwards, then it mav be used. Moreover, at least one slot 13 is formed at the upper portion of the lateral side of 25 the receiving housing I. A lateral hole I ') I is formed at the lateral wall of the slot 13. The slot 13 can receive one or two sets of cleanina brushes 4 1 and 42 so that the supporting seats 4 11 and 42 1 of the cleaning brushes 41 and 42 can be combined with push buttons 412, 422 at the outer end of the lateral hole 13 1 for controlling the usincy as being pushed outwards or storacFe as being pulled inwards.
Another, a receivinc., aroove 14 is fo rmed at the lower portion of the slot 13 of the recelvima housing I so to provide a counting disk 5 to be active or fixed. Besides, the lower end of the receiving , groove 14 of the receiving housing I is formed with a cambered notch 15. A cambered track 15 1 is installed at the inner wall of the notch so that the cambered notch 15 can be embedded by a round mark block 6.
Referrina to Figs. 7 and 8, an elastic piece capable to inwards resist against a wall is punched from (or locked to) the lateral wall of insertincy aroove I I of the receivin- housin- I. Thus, after the ball emitting posts 2 are inserted, fixing and positioning effects are achieved. The depth of the aforesaid inserting groove 11 is correspondent to the length of ball emitting post 2. Thus, the ball emitting post 2 can be embedded into the groove completely.
In the cambered notch 15 of the receiving housing I, the length of the notch must slightly smaller than the diameter of the mark block 6. A round trench 61 is installed at the wall of the mark block 6.
Therefore, a buckling effect is formed between the cambered notch of the round trench 61 and the cambered track 151. Since the length ofthe notch is smaller than the round diameter of the mark block 6, thus the mark block 6 can be embedded into the.cambered 6 notch 15 exact I y. Thus, the dropping out event is prevented effectively.
In the receivin- aroove 14ofthereceivina housing 1, two lateral walls are concave properly. A smaller concave surface 141 is formed at the wall of the detectin2 surface. Thus, after the countinc, disk 5 is received, the movin2 and detecting actions can be performed conveniently. Figs. 9 to I I shows the.structure of the counting disk 5. The counting disk 5 includes two lateral covers 5 1 and 52, a movable piece 53, a spring 54, and two steel balls 55.
The two lateral covers 51 and 52 can be combined for formed as a hollow casina. Each side of the two lateral covers 5 1 and 52 has a cambered concave wall 510, 520, respectively. In one of the lateral covers, the inner wall thereof is installed with two opposite semi spherical rings 511 and 512. A notch 522 is installed at the concave wall 520 of another lateral cover 52.
The movable piece 52 is an acute teeth piece, and the surface of each tooth is printed with numbers I to 10 (not shown) for counting, C A ring, 53 1 is installed at the lateral surface thereof. A plurality of arooves 532 are installed at the inner wall of the rinc, 53 1. The ring 53 1 may be enaaaed with the two semi-spherical rings 511, and 512.
Each end of the spring 54 is resisted against by a steel ball 55 for being embedded into the ring 53) 1 of the movable piece 52. The two steel balls 55 are installed in the grooves 532 with respect to the two ends of the ring 53 1. When the movable piece 53) and the two semi-spherical rincys 511 and 5 12 are engaged, the sprincy 54 Is 7 exactly embedded into the gap of the two semi-spherical rings 511 and 512. Therefore, whenthe movable piece 53 rotates and moves, by the ejectima and movement of the two steel balls 55 and the groove 532, a sliaht movement is generated and a slight voice of di-da is emits. Since the teeth 530 of the movable piece 53 protrudes from the movable piece 522 of the lateral cover _52 and the notch 52-1 is respective to the wall of the receiving groove 14 of the receivinc, housing I, the number of the teeth 530 is clearly displayed so that the user may recorded the beating number in each hole.
