Abstract

The device has a decorative article in the form of either a flying saucer 14 (Fig 3) or a picture cube (14',Fig 6) suspended magnetically from an L-shaped rod 12 disposed on a base board 11, the article being tethered to the base board by a thread 13. Magnetic attraction is provided by a first magnet 122 on the underside of the rod 12 and a second magnet 141 on the upper side of the decorative article.

TITLE:DECORATION DEVICE BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a decoration device. More particularly, the present invention relates to a decoration device which has a flying saucer.
It is easy to hang a decoration as a pendent article. It is easy to make a.flying saucer toy which can stay in the air for a while. However, it is difficult to find a flying saucer toy which can stay in the air for a long period of time without hanging. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to provide a decoration device which has two magnetic blocks to attract each other so that a flying saucer can stay in the air for a long period of time without hanging.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Ref erring to FIGS. 1 to 4, a decoration device comprises a base board 11, an L-shaped rod 12 disposed on the base board 11, and a soft thread 13 connected to a flying saucer 14 and the base board 11. An insertion groove 121 is formed on a distal bottom of the L-shaped rod 12. 15 A first magnetic block 122 is inserted in the insertion groove 121. A second magnetic block 122 is disposed on an upper portion of the flying saucer 14. When the second magnetic block 122 approaches the 20 first magnetic block 122, the second magnetic block 122 and the first magnetic block 122 attract each other. When the user presses the flying saucer 14 downward, the flying saucer 14 will fall down. Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, another decoration 25 device comprises a base board 111, an L-shaped rod 12' 2 disposed on the base board 111, and a soft thread 131 connected to a hollow box 14' and the base board 11 1. An insertion groove 121' is formed on a distal bottom of the L-shaped rod 121. 05 A first magnetic block 122' is inserted in the insertion groove 121'. A second magnetic block 1221 is disposed on an upper portion of the hollow box 14'. The hollow box 14' has at least an opening 142 The opening 142' receives a picture or a photograph.

Claims (5)

I CLAIM:
1. A decoration device comprising:
a base board, an L-shaped rod disposed on the base board, a soft thread connected to a decoration article and the base board, an insertion groove f ormed on a distal bottom of the L-shaped rod, a f irst magnetic block inserted in the insertion groove, and a second magnetic block disposed on an upper portion of the decoration article.
2. A decoration device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the decoration article is a flying saucer.
3. A decoration device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the decoration article is a hollow box.
4. A decoration device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hollow box has at least an opening.
5. A decoration device substantially as herein described and illustrated with reference to the ac- companying drawings.
