Description

2352619 STRAP/HOLDER FOR CARRYING HEAVY PLASTIC BAGS This invention
relates to a strap/holder for carrying heavy plastic bags.
Plastic bags are easily accessible nowadays and relatively inexpensive. They can be obtained in all big chain stores, supermarkets & local shops, etc. A spare tissue or the odd bit of cloth can be used but they would easily move out of place or shred to pieces underneath the handles of the plastic bags whilst carrying the weight of goods that were contained in the plastic bags.
According to this particular invention there is provided a strap/holder which can be attached, adjusted & made specifically for carrying heavy plastic bags more easily, wit ' hout having-to experience the discomfort of cutting into one's fingers or the palms of one's hand.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by the way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:- Figure 1 shows in perspective, the strap/holder in the closed sideview position:
Figure 2 shows in perspective, the strap/holder in the opened & flat inside view position:
Figure 3 illustrates the slotted into position in the strap/holder:
Figure 4 illustrates the strap/holder in the closed position being carried.
2 Referring to the drawing of the strap/holder, figure 1 illustrates the strong durable fabric body 10 & 11 in the closed position when it is not in use. Comprising of an adjustable attachment 12 & 13, rust-free poppers, being at least 15mm in size. They can be secured inside of the strap/holder in two or more positions.
Figure 2 illustrates the strap/holder in the 'OPEN' position looking at the strap/holder from a.-flat inside view position. The body would be sufficient in leng-th to surround the palm & not cut into the side of the person's hand. By attaching 14 the plastic bags full of contents 15 shown in figure 3 to the strap/holder when it is in the closed position & adjusted by the poppers 12 & 13, the plastic bag is ready to be transported.
Figure 4 illustrates a hand 16 carrying the plastic bag with the outside of the strap/holder 10 in the closed position.
To dismantle, the steps described above in figure 3 are carried out in the reverse sequence.
