Abstract

A shot counter for use with small bore, air and CO<SP>2</SP> guns comprises a muzzle adapter A shaped to fit the muzzle of a gun, a counter device (C) having a pressure switch, and a tube (B) coupling the muzzle adapter (A) to the pressure switch of the counter (C). In use pressure from the muzzle blast of the gun is coupled via the tube (B) to the pressure switch of the counter (C) which may comprise, for example, a digital liquid crystal display. The counter may be provided with an on/off cancel button (D).

DESCRIPTION OF SHOT COUNTER
A. Is a self-adhesive muzzle adaptor supplied in various shapes, as in A B. Is a tube with a flexible end and available in different lengths. This tube fits into the muzzle adaptor via the hole provided.
Is a LCD 4 digit display, with an inbuilt pressure switch.
D. Is the onloff cancel button.
The unit is fitted to the gun by self-adhesive pads or velcro. when the gun is fires some pressure from the muzzle blast passes down the tube and operates the pressure switch, which in turn operates the LCD display via printed circuit board.

Claims (2)

CLAIMS:
1. A shot counter device for use with a gun, comprising a counter device equipped with a pressure switch, an adaptor for fitting over the muzzle of a gun, and a tube coupled between the mu7zle adaptor and the pressure switch of the counter device, the arrangement being such that in use pressure from the muzzle blast of the gun is coupled to the pressure switch via the tube in order to operate the counter device.
2. A shot counter device for use with a gun, substantially as described herein.
